The Amish Market had a coupon for a free half pound of meatballs today. So we're having meatball sandwiches with provolone cheese, and a choice of leftover macaroni salad or new potato salad (both from the stand at the market with the free meatballs, mind you.). Dessert will be the creampuffs I baked this afternoon.

Homemade pizza, courtesy of my DH! Friends are bringing a spinach salad, and I have a peach cobbler in the oven as we "speak"!

Not sure about tonight, but yesterday made meatballs from buffalo and beef, froze a bunch and last night had gravy, meatballs, mash potatoes and veggies.

I had guests last night and prepared three cold salads and grilled chicken for dinner, so today I get to feast on the leftovers. I might have enough to cover tomorrow, too. One of the salads I made was an Ina Garten recipe. I was pleased with the result, although I think I might add a bit more onion and raspberry vinegar next time to boost those flavors. Gosh I'm getting ravenous reading all your replies!! It all sounds so good. We are having seafood salad, hard rolls and fresh fruit.

I had salmon, a twice baked potato, and steamed broccoli and cauliflower.

Wouldn't it be nice to have all the foods listed on a big long picnic table so we could try it all?!

Knife slipped off the sweet potato and cut my thumb. Fortunately, it is not a bad cut. Curious blood splatter though! Maybe I watch too much CSI?

Our usual Sat. night supper is a big, tossed salad with lots of veggies--i.e., tomatoes, onions, broccoli, green peppers, carrots, plus hard-boiled egg, shredded cheese,bacon bits, crispy onion pieces, and some Gen. Tso's chicken from Wally's deli counter, also half a toasted bagel. Oh, raspberry cheese cake for dessert. I always look forward to Sat.'s dinner!

I wish I would cook for myself, but don't get the pleasure cooking for just ME!

We had hot sausage with peppers and onions on hard rolls, potato salad, and corn on the cob.

I had a couple over for dinner. The plans were made early in the week, then hubby got called this morning to go play in a band, for today. It's a company picnic. and he's having a blast. He's phoned me a few times to tell me about it.

So we carried on without him. Chicken Marabella with rice and broccoli, and chocolate-zucchini cake from a fresh zucchini. I made 4 loaves of bread today as well, and sent 1 loaf home with my friends.

We decided to have an "appetizer" dinner. Little pigs in a blankets, mini quiche's and some other pastry thingys..(which honestly weren't very good) Some grapes and watermelon and a little bit of cheesecake for dessert

We just ate: pork roast with teriyaki sauce, roasted corn from Trader Joe's, a bean/mushroom/potato mix of veggies from T.J.'s. My kids didn't like the corn, said it tasted burnt. I liked it, tasted like roasted over a fire corn. Maria, her boyfriend and one of Lauren's friends ate with us.

We went to Rockfish and I am so full I can barely wiggle. It was fantastic.

We just got in from 6 weeks of vacation. Our neighbor invited us over for homemade vegetable soup, sandwiches and strawberry shortcake. It was all delicious.

She watched over our house and collected mail while we were gone. Tomorrow we are taking her out for Chinese dinner.
