Sooooo delightful!

Mt Laurel Tearoom for a friend's birthday. There were 3 of us.

And the owner was waiting on us and knew exactly what I wanted and she had it!

Fabulous tomato pie, her version of green bean casserole, fresh slices of red tomatoes with a tad of cucumber, and wheat crusted baguette.

And cause it was friend's birthday, she was served a reeses peanut butter cupcake topped with ice cream, whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce, and a lit candle. Everyone sang Happy Birthday!

It was another day with Amber and Alyssa having fun going to Hobby Lobby and Joann's. Lunch was at Fazolis. I had a coupon for a free plate of spaghetti, added bread sticks and raspberry iced tea. My supper was broiled hot dog on a bun with mustard and chopped onion. One of my favorite ways to have them.

Sue

Rerun--we had meatball sandwiches again, and finished up the pasta salad with them. Not exciting, but no work to speak of--so that's something

Played golf today and was clever enough to bring home two boxed lunches. I've been glued to the T.V. ever since, watching the Ryder Cup. If DH wants something he'll have to help himself. There's some leftover chicken and mushrooms with noodles or Pasta Puttanesca. I'm here for the duration of the Ryder Cup which has long been completed.....love the DVR.

I had baked tilapia and a bowl of split pea soup. Really warmed me up. And now that I'm all warmed up, I want a hot fudge sundae. ;*)

Shirley

I managed to dig into the freezer and throw together a pot of soup which I hope is edible because I basically have no taste or smell right now. But I do have meds coming so hopefully soon I will have it all back.

Tuna salad on lettuce leaf with tomato wedges, home-fried potatoes, left-over corn--cut off the cob--sauteed in a litte butter, then thickened with flour and milk (good!), and 1/4 quarter of a large "everything" bagel, toasted. This meal was quick and easy, but tasty, too.

Mwheel, if you have any leftovers, I'll take them.

Shirley

Mike had requested unstuffed pepper soup (he could eat that every night) but I got a call from a friend inviting us to dinner. So we will be having chili, salad and some sort of bread.

Glenda, what fun! Your lunch sounds so good--wow, what a birthday cake!

Sue, any day with a grandbaby is a good day. That little girl is learning early to be a good shopper. I like the age/stage she is in now. So much fun.

Azzalea--"rerun", I like that term. Good thing to not waste those leftovers.

Georgysmom, sounds like you had a fun day. We all need a kitchen break once in a while (or more often). Do you walk the course or rent a cart? You'd like it here--we have 3 18-hole courses :-)

Shirley, I hope you had ice cream for your hot fudge sundae. That does sound good!

Raven, I sure hope those meds work miracles. You've not been feeling well for a while now. Get well, GF!

Gee, mwheel I second what Shirley said. All of your dinner sounds good. Especially the corn!

Nita, I have GOT to make that soup--but an invite to dinner is even better. Hope you had a great time, but I know you did :-)

My 8 hour day turned into a 10.25 hour so had Lauren order us Chinese takeout and I picked it up on my way home. Lauren and Duray had lo mein and I had some seafood and veggie dish. Now I have enough to eat on for the next month-lol!
