I'm making beef and bean burritos for my crew.

I am not too hungry so I just had a banana, unless something else strikes my fancy :) It has been another long and cold day. Had to be out and about most of the day it seems. Lots of snow predicted for us over the weekend.

Hi Shirley!
We're still in a cold blast. Should get to normal temps; just a little below the freezing mark for the weekend.

We finished up some leftovers.....breaded chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, brown rice and some Haystacks for dessert. Haystacks are chow mein noodles that have been covered in melted peanut butter and chocolate chips and refrigerated. Easy treat to make.

Cold here too, only got to 21 all day. Went out to play with the dogs as we had a little snow.

Dinner for hubby was leftover manicotti , I had some shells

I have been wanting a good home made mixed vegetables soup so I just threw one together from the pantry, fridge and freezer. I don't know how it will be but it was the best I could do with what I had.
I told hubby he has to make us some toasted cheese bread to go with it.
I think it might make me feel better, I sure hope so.

I was tired of cold weather back in July, now it's just worse. Must be that global warming? How about hot dogs, beans, and delicious greasy fried taters all doused in Ketchup.

Kayjones: I'll take one of each. Haven't had either one in a long time.

Sue: You do eating right by not eating a full meal when you're only hungry for a banana. I'd have to add it to a bowl of oatmeal. lol The bananas haven't looked good in my area lately so haven't bought any for about a month.

Jasdip: Your entire meal sounds like something I'd like to try. I'll take a small amount of each.

Mary: What did you put in your shells?

Ravencajun: I like your kind of soup. I often do that myself. Toasted bread to go with it ... that should really make you feel better.

Old Fixer: Hold the ketchup and I'll join you at your table. That's one of my favorite comfort meals.

We are having Salmon patties, scalloped potatoes and black eyed peas for dinner...

grilled hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, and blackberry cobbler

Orchid: Salmon patties: one of my favorites; Scalloped potatoes: I could eat them at least once a week; Blackeyed peas: never tried them.

The soup and cheese bread were excellent. It did help but then I got sleepy lol. Now watching the cotton bowl, see if Osu can win like our Sooners did last night.

Veggie soup sounds delightful..in fact I could throw something together in a pot... And I just may..

BigD and I have been out and about most of the day..so my fridge is stocked..
Dinner will be custom pannini's...so some soup would be good!

We stopped and got doughnuts out of town...we had ours with coffe at the shop..and brought some home for the boys...

So dessert first. ;)

So my pannini is chicken, havarti, provolone, avocado and bacon.
I also made soup...so yummy..I highly recommend it..and quick!
