GS was called to work on a construction site, due to the heavy rains, no work, they needed extra workers with the sun out.. Yea, money for him.

Lloyds for half a hamburger steak, grilled onions, butterpeas, tossed salad. I'm full!

Lloyds meat portions are so big you are allowed to order half a plate with less meat and at a reduced price.

I did a repeat of last night: dutch loaf sandwich, along with half a creamstick. Will probably have some cantaloupe later on.

Cheryl and I once again did some weed pulling but not for too long. My second daughter, Terri came, then they picked up Alyssa. While they were gone I started fixing lunch. Fried chicken, chicken gravy, Grands biscuits, cream style corn, peas, a salad with lots of stuff in it and even some of the leftover cucumber salad. Cantaloupe too. At lunch time Amber came and then my son Randy came. So all of my kids were here. All that was missing was oldest Granddaughter Mandy. So for my supper it was the last piece of leftover chicken and some of the other leftovers. I am so ready for bed!

Glenda, I wish all restaurants would offer smaller plates. Sometimes there's enough food for a family of four. I usually just order an appetizer and soup or salad. Even the appetizers make a whole meal these days.

Sue, nice to have all the kids together and I know you enjoyed every minute of it. My mother would've have done the same thing--fried chicken. Just the mention of fried chicken would have us come running! I bet you will sleep really good tonight!

Guess what-RAIN for Sat. Now Sun we have to pull weeds from the flower beds & do some work in the veg. garden. I will clean tomorrow.

Dinner tonight was sandwiches which was easy after a long day at work.

Just a sandwich here. My mother went in the hospital last night and I didn't get home until midnight and I hate driving at night. Went back over this morning, then took sister to get hair done, picked her up. 2 hours later had to run her unexpectedly to the doctor in the other direction. Did a lot of driving the last 2 days and no time for a nap! Wah.

I also wish more restaurants would offer half portions or something similar.

I'm not sure about dinner yet. It's 8pm & DH is working an hour & a half away. He'll probably end up grabbing something on the way home. In that case, I'll just make myself a sandwich & have some fruit & yogurt. I have enough stuffed pepper mix to make a batch tonight, but I've had a headache for several hours & don't really feel like doing that. It's actually supposed to be sunny here tomorrow. I'm trying to get some household things done in spite of the headache so I can spend some time at the pool tomorrow.

a corned beef on rye from the "bread basket deli"....so big it lasts 2 days...

Ham and swiss on french bread. I'm on strike until the I can open the fridge door without an avalanche of leftovers tumbling over when I reach for something! I couldn't fit a cracker in there right now! Good thing hubby loves leftovers.
