Mix this recipe to make the clay. Materials: one cup cornstarch plastic bowl wooden spoon one cup glue one tablespoon of cold cream one tablespoon of glycerin Teflon pan 1/2 cup water Steps: 1. Place cornstarch in a plastic bowl and make a well in the center. Add water little by little and pound the mixture gently with wooden spoon. Do not stir. If lumps appear, use thumb to smash. 2. Add glue all at once, stirring with wooden spoon. Add cold cream and glycerin then move it all into a Teflon pan. The Teflon is especially recommended for this recipe. Heat over a low temperature while stirring with the wooden spoon for three to five minutes until it looks like paste. 3. Remove the mixture from the pan and place it on counter to dry for 10 minutes . If the mixture is too dry, knead in small amounts of water using your hands. If the clay is too sticky, knead in small amounts of cornstarch using your hands. 4. With cold cream on hands, knead the dough until there are no lumps. Store the dough in plastic bags until ready to use. Note: The dough will shrink 20 to 30 percent after forming into desired shapes . It takes longer to dry if you live in a cold weather climate. To accelerate drying in cold weather place the clay in a scrap of cotton material

Hi Kids, I thought it was a good show last night. I was sad to see Dad and Son go. They did a good job of keeping it together and almost made it at the end. They were a good team, always nice to each other and respectful. I wish it had been a non-elim leg, but that was not the case. What was up with the Brothers? Why did they finish so far ahead of the other teams? Was it just beacuse they followed the cab? I would have been surprised if they had not gotten the penalties or at least one. Hiding the pump was a dirty trick, but did the other teams even know there was sapose to be a pump there? I think I missed that. Asking the cab driver to show them the way was a dumb move. Another case of a team not reading the directions? It was nice to Thailand again and Homemade is correct...the heat is unlike anything we have here. It's not just the high temps, but it's also the high humidity as well as the sun. Being closer to the equator, the sun is strong and hot. You need gills to breathe. Next week in Bangkok, away from the ocean, will be ever worse. I've been dehydrated in Bangkok. It's not fun and it happens fast. You need to drink lots and lots of water. It will be interesting to see how they handle the traffic and the smells of the city. Flamiey...you are right about the two girls and that poor man with all the drawers. They were so rude. I watched the CBS shows and I've watched the Dateline and some of the Dr. Phil. I don't know what to think, other than believing an intruder is the least-likely scenario. Not impossible, but very unlikely, due to the way the note was written, the way the body was discovered, and Burke's interviews shortly after the crime and 18 months after the crime. Burke said he heard his mother come into his room and then go out of it looking for JonBenet, and then he heard her in hysterics (as he said in the interview afterward "going psycho") and just stayed in bed pretending to sleep or trying to sleep, rather than go try to find out what had happened. Picture your own kids. You burst into your 9 year old's room and then just as suddenly depart. You are frantically crying and screaming, alerting your spouse and then placing a 911 call. Your 9 year old doesn't freeze with fear. They don't hide. They also don't come ask you what's wrong. They don't go find dad and ask what's wrong. They just stay in bed and wait. The only reason I can think of for him to do this is either that he was used to the sound of adults "going psycho" in other parts of the house and did not find that unusual/alarming--or he knew what the problem was and was waiting to find out how his parents were going to handle it.
