Lady problems, may be TMI for men, sorry!

Sally Brownlee

I am anxious and nervous, wondering if any of you ladies have any words of advice on what I may expect to hear.

First,I do have an appointment with my gynecologist on Monday.

I am 46 yrs old and for the past year or so, my cycle has been heavier or more frequent than normal. (not less).
I have been very predictable my whole life.
I have never been pregnant
It has been 10 weeks since my last cycle started.
Even though my SO has had a vasectomy many years ago, (for sanity's sake) I have taken 3 pregnancy tests and all have been negative.
I have been experiencing headaches, nausea, breast tenderness, weight gain, some random chest pains, no libido.
At this point I can only assume it is perimenopause, but all these symptoms came on quite rapidly.
Did anyone experience similar?

I am not experiencing any unusual stress or worry, no life changes, no diet or exercise changes..

I just need to talk to someone. Dear SO is already worried enough, don't really want to talk to my close friends about this.

Thanks for any words..
