Aaaahhhh yessss....the infamous "Blue Turf"!! Still can't make up my mind if I like it or not!?!??! I AM excited to see the Gopher's new TCF (Twin-Cities Federal bank) Stadium on the U of M campus. My Bison lost a playoff game last Dec. 2010 at Eastern-Washington state in OT....on their RED turf!!! Crappy/snowy/slushy conditions for that game....Uffda!! The linked picture below shows our last years QB, Brock Jensen, in utter disappointment, on their red turf, after that OT ruling... well unfortunately that feeds right into what men, their primary viewers want lol. i only watch my teams on tv, chicago cubs, bears, bulls, blackhawks and IU football & basketball and i agree that some commentators including men are nit wits... fox news commentators? do you want them to be even dumber???? or just yes women lol! ~ liz

Peaceful protest is everyone's right IN AMERICA -- whenever, wherever -- because this IS America. I do not have a public arena in which to protest, but if I did...I would protest there. I stopped flying my American flag during Cheney's administration -- ashamed that we would lock people up without due process -- and torture them. That terrifies me AS an American. I'm sad about putting the flag out every morning right now. I love my country, but I am ashamed of us. My ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War. Family has served in WWI and WWII -- fortunately NOT in the undeclared war in Vietnam, nor the other politically/economically motivated 'military actions'. It's never "My country, right or wrong."
