Hopefully Dr. Murray was just asking if someone knew CPR so that he could do compressions while someone else did breathing or he could draw up and give meds while the other person was doing CPR. I can't imagine a doctor not knowing how to do it.

I'm thinking that MJ took the pills before the Propofol. I can't imagine that someone could take them afterwards unless it was injected pretty high up in the IV.

I haven't been following the trial, but I will be interested in the verdict. Michael was known to be vain and stupid. But I think the doctor is , in the end, responsible for providing the prescriptions. Just my opinions.

After watching the Casey Anthony trial, I don't think I could go through months of it again. But I also here snippets on the news. I heard about the CPR thing this morning, and I agree with heather. He probably needed assistance, that's what they train you to do, to have a second person available if possible when you tire. The media love to twist and turn statements to give added drama,ect.

I'm not watching it, but do catch the bits and pieces. I have no idea what the truth is in this case, but since the Casey Anthony case, I've learned that lawyers can throw in just about anything they want to, especially Defense lawyers.

I might watch more if they didn't keep showing the same clips of MJ over and over. Never was a MJ fan.

What I do wonder about though is, what would Dr. Murray's motive be for harming MJ?

By mistake, we had it on when they did the openings and when I heard the tapes of MJ, I couldn't believe it....He surely sounded like he was high on something....And I couldn't believe how many gallons of that stuff the doctor had ordered.....Just goes to show, if you have the money, you can get just about anything....But what a life!

Sue, I don't think he had any desire to hurt MJ. I think the overdose was accidental. But still malpractice in my opinion.

I don't know all the details, but I do agree it was a case of terrible malpractice. But on the other hand, MJ was a grown man who chose the life he lived. It's a tragic story any way you look at it.

They played a tape of Mj talking,he said he wants people to say his concert was the best It was...We won tickets to go see the jackson 5 pepsi tour ,last one as a group it was GREAT.....loved every minute of it.What a shame somebody as talented as him,yes I ve seen some of trial the dr is guilty prescribing but he was in the wrong,he hid in the closet the iv bag it looked to the experts that the drug went in system too fast it malfunctioned.,they said the dr was scared when emergency people arrived and he ordered mega doses more for mj,he knew what he was doing.

I've only heard bits and pieces but from what I've heard, it sounds to me like they didn't charge him correctly. They're going to be hard-pressed to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Murray gave it to him. Having it there according to many is possibly illegal or a violation of medical rules, but how do you prove that Murray gave him the shots? Supposedly people have seen Jackson injecting himself with stuff before and a druggie knows how to take shots and Wacko Jacko was a druggie extraordinaire. To me, and admittedly I've only heard bits and pieces and there's a lot of trial to go, but so far, screaming reasonable doubt. Possibly another case of prosecutors trying to charge for publicity rather than a conviction.

I don't understand how he even got the propofol, one of our best friends is a surgeon and he said that he has never seen it outside of the hospital, even for procedures that his practice does in the office. (Which is across the street from he hospital) I don't think he did this out of malice either, but I do think that he was way beyond careless.

As a physician he promised to do no harm and to give no deadly medicine to any one if asked. He must never be permitted to practice nor dispense medicine ever again. Since he evidently removed all signs of the medication he knew what he had done was wrong. He needs to be punished.

Yes, I agree, it was malpractice. It certainly should have been given in a very controlled environment.

sleeperblues, I agree. My question was worded badly. What I meant was Dr. Murray would have had no reason to cause MJ's death. After all he was being paid outrageous sums of money to keep him well.

He must have a guilty conscience though from some of what I've heard. Very inept, unorganized, unprofessional, etc. What was he doing with all that money he was making, since he is apparently way behind in child support.
