Did you see the flag display by the Green Bay audience?

I had tears in my eyes, not sure how they did it. It was beautiful, then the military flyover-wow! I read today that everyone had placards they held up to make the flag. And Jordin Sparks looked beautiful and did a nice job with the national anthem.

I only saw a picture of it, but it was pretty amazing! Love that type of stuff and it ALWAYS gets me choked up!

You are soo right pamghatten!! Two daughters home from college made a "snap chat" story --posting a pic of 'ALL' the nativities they found in our home. They got to 50. They missed two that we know of. LOL!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I have always coveted the sets that have many many different shepherds, animals, etc. The Fontanini line is great for that!! Maybe if I had such a "complete" set one would be enough!!

Do NOT buy this product! It’s beautiful but HORRIBLE quality and cracks just sitting there with no use (dangerous cracks that can cut you like broken glass) and chips with the tiniest pump of a cup or anything. It’s expensive and does not live up to anything they advertise. Not sure how they can falsely advertise a product as being so durable when it’s, in fact, the least durable countertop I’ve ever encountered—real or manmade. I’m not sure why they don’t fix this product and make it with more ground stone and epoxy/binders than glass. Who makes glass countertops and thinks it’s a good idea? See photos.

Yes, that was very cool! The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel had pictures in it showing how they placed the colored cards on all the seats. The whole afternoon/evening would've been a blast to be at, with the concerts and tailgating on such a beautiful day/evening. And of course, a Packer win, just topped everything off! :)

Yes, I saw the opening stadium display last night. On the day before, I had heard about it when the bews media noted workers checking cards with seat numbers. What I did not know beforehand was how big it was going to be. I had in mind it would be like the flip card section at a college foorball game - I was far off on that estimate.

The display was huge. It used all the seats in the lower sections. The blue field with a few white stars covered all of the section opposite the grandstand, and then wavy stripes flowed from the blue field all the way around the remainder of the stadium. It was awesome. The Star Spangled Banner was nicely sung punctuated with a flyover of 4 fighter jets.

I wonder who coordinated this. That's got to be quite a chore - so many opportunities for things to go wrong.

Jemdandy-I was just thinking what an ordeal to put this together. All the individual cards, in the correct seats etc. But glad someone was able to figure it out!

I was thinking the exact same thing about how much work that must have been to put together. The pundits were saying it probably wouldn't have worked anywhere but in Green Bay, because there would have been too many fans missing from their seats.
