Adult male person in ladies' restroom.

While on a day trip, I stopped in at a fast food restaurant to "go" and get coffee. I entered a side door and looked toward the back of the restaurant where I could see the door with the "men" sign on it in a little alcove, so I went in that direction, thinking the door with the "women" sign on it would be opposite the other one, and so it was.

I was aware of an adult female person maybe 3 to 5 feet ahead of me going in that direction. By the time I got to the door of the restroom, suddenly there was an adult male person entering the women's restroom. I don't know where he came from. I don't know how I missed seeing where he came from. Must have been digging in my purse or something. Maybe took a little nap. Whatever.

As he took a step into the restroom, he turned his head to see me. I had stopped walking. He then went on into the restroom. I thought surely upon seeing me, he would switch directions and go into the men's restroom -- silly me! I was completely befuddled.

There was an employee of the fast food restaurant sitting in a booth just outside the restrooms, eating a meal and playing with her cell phone. From where I stood, two steps away from the restroom door, I could talk to her. I said, "Did you see that? A man just walked into the ladies' restroom." She looked at me strangely and said no, got up and looked in there, came back out and sat down in the booth.

I waited for a few minutes -- maybe 3 or 4 -- long enough for another man to go into the men's restroom, tend to his business, and come out. Finally, I said something to the employee about it taking so long. She got up, went toward the front of the restaurant, and when she returned in about 30 seconds, another restaurant employee was following her. The first lady returned to the booth. The second lady opened the restroom door, looked in, closed the door, said, "He's in a stall," and she disappeared into the front of the restaurant.

I waited another 30 seconds or so while no one did anything and I left.

I'm not sure, but I think the first employee, as she was standing there looking inside the restroom with the door open, should have said, "Sir, you're not supposed to be in the ladies' restroom," and stood there until he came out.

I hope I don't end up on Candid Camera.

Unfreakin believable!!!
