Oh, thought you were commenting on this week's show, not one from a few weeks ago. I thought this week they totally sent the wrong person home--but just in case you haven't seen it, won't say who it was. (it was the challenge where they had to go out in the park and beg, borrow or buy people's clothes from them to make their designs.) But as to Miss Piggy--liked both Rami's and Michael's for her, and I'm not generally all that thrilled with Rami, so didn't mind that they didn't choose him.

I was surprised by the winner, but then again none of them stood out to me. Her audition pieces were really pretty so maybe they were remembering them. And in a way I was glad she won since Korina and some others were being so snarky about her from the get-go...took them down a few pegs and rightfully so. Keep your nasty comments about the other people's work to yourself...but I gues that makes for good ratings. Of the bottom 3 I think the right one went home....those high-waisted shorts were just awful....might have worked had he done a a regular loose-fitting pant instead.

I managed to not let the personalities of the people get in the way of my actually seeing the designs. It is difficult. Andy did play very safe and tone out all of the warrior princess of his designs aspect. I think that is what hurt him the most. Taking the criticism to heart and blotting out his own eye on the design. If he had left a bit of the sharp edge he would have presented a better collection. I liked what he did but it looked dull compared to his previous works. I agreed with the judges the green cocktail dress was the best of the collection. The head pieces were not as flattering as he seemed to think. Mondo I expected to see exactly what he presented and if I were a late teens girl, seeking attention, would have jumped into his clothing like wild fire. I love his work but I feel they just are not something a more mature/dignified woman will wear, except for the large polka dot evening gown. One word STUNNING on any woman. His work was very reminiscent of Seth Aaron's designs last season with the bold mixtures of patterns, graphics and pops of color. Seth did his designs specifically for the mid and upper teen girls. Gretchen did hit the the wearable market spot on but in my opinion there was nothing luxurious about her collection. I think the range of woman who would wear the clothing she designed is much broader then either of the others. I really liked her design jewelry I think it had a lot to do with her total look and without it and her accessorizing much better her collection might not have presented as well. Her growth came in learning to accessorize and hair and makeup all in this finale. They all worked hard and now they all have more knowledge and great exposure. I'm sure they will all do well in the future. LIL

I have absolutely no fashion sense but love this program. It is almost guaranteed the fashions I hate will be the winners. Thanks for the reminder. I thought it was reruns again.
