I thought Daniel had the right idea for Chloe but it was just a little off. That gal cleans up good!! But Chloe's outfit for Nick? I thought it looked good on him but had a very yawny ready-to-wear look. Come to think of it all but the jumpsuit and puckery suit did. Did Daniel coast? I don't know. But I wasn't overly impressed. Kara's bit for Santino was x-lent but WTF with that jumpsuit! As the only pair doing each others they had a weird dynamic going on; Kara was all upset about Santino's creation? Please! It's a competition! She should have been delighted that it fell apart and looked like crap! I predict Kara or Santino should be the next to go. They may keep Santino just so they have a Wendy Pepper-esque "evil" person for the final three.

I was astonished that Kara did so well after her lousy showing last week but her dress really was good. The dyed Dens were making me cringe, too. I'm glad Daniel won again in spite of everyone's cluelessness about the flowers. Santino's might have worked better for me if it hadn't been so glossy. I was really worried Chloe was going to not finish and get cut because of it. She's too good to be gone at this point. And poor, poor Andrae. Can you believe he DIDN'T cry when he was cut? I was cracking up at Santino doing the whole "Tim and Andrae at Red Lobster" bit. I'm tempted to write some nasty slash fiction just to see that all play out. Next week, just what I've been calling for: MENSWEAR!!!!!

Hi Kids, Well...did you watch? I watched it this morning at 11:00 and I guess I would agree with the decision of the Judges. Kit was the one who was 'out'. I really liked Kit a lot. I thought she had a quiet, understated talent. But in this challege, she came up short. This was a team challenge. Teams of two were selected by Heidi pulling buttons out of the bag. The challegne was to design an avant-garde, over the top gown that was to be inspired by a hair style. The models were brought out onto the Runway, all with BIG hair. The designers had to choose a model with hair that was inspirational and, design an outfit around the hair. In the middle of construction, Tim arrived to inform the teams that they also had to come up with another outfit that would be a companion piece to the avant-garde gown. I thought the challenge was a good one and some of the designs were amazing. Christian and Chris won with a HUGE gown that had layer after layer of ruffel and flounce...head to foot. I guess it was beautiful but I would have no idea who or when it would ever be worn. It was made using 45 yards of fabric. On the right shoulder sat a 'wing', also made of ruffel and flounce that extended up about 3 feet and was about 2 feet at the widest part. It was supported by wire which was hiden inside the fabric. Their second outfit was a silk-ish tan pencil skirt with a lighter, silkish, sleevless top with a ruffel down the front. It was OK. Jillian and Victoria came in second. Their model had long blond hair and had been given a 'flow-hawk'. Jillian and Victoria made a beautiful, double breasted, form fitting Trench coat in a black or navy. It was long and flowing. Under the coat the model had on a white shirt and a pair of brown jodhpurs. It was a really sharp outfit that fit perfectly. Their second look was a simple dark dress that was short and off one shoulder. It was OK. Rami and Sweet P had problems and came in third. Rami made a lovely, flowing, draped gown. The top was a floral corset that was visable only on one side. The other side was an off the shouder drape that extended down the front of the gown and into an open and flowing skirt/bottom. It was beautiful but a little 'more of the same' from Rami. Under the gown was a pair of pants that Sweet P made...not very well. Sweet P did their second look that was a short dress with a satin 'facing' top over the base fabric which was silk, empire and short. It was very cute. Kit and Ricky...their model had a big mess of teased hair that looked like a birds nest. They decided to make a gown over a hoop skirt of multi layers using different fabric, both print and solid, all bound with satin on the lower edge. Over the top was an apron made of some, almost not there, fabric. Their second look was a halter dress in a floral with pockets. Cute but not worth much. Christian and Chris worked very well together. They were fast, not much drama, stuck to their vision. Jillian and Veronica were two type A personalities butting heads, but it worked. Rami took over. Sweet P could offer nothing that Rami was interested in. She was left to make the pants and the second outfit. Rami did not make a very good team leader. Kit and Ricky worked very well together. Ricky did what Kit told him to do and stayed out of her way. They talked about their design, she listened and appreciated his input. In the end, their design was just not 'over the top' enough. Ricki did the second look which was dull. Whew...I'm sure I have missed a bunch of stuff and may have added some stuff that is not accurate, sorry. But...what did all of you think of the show as you saw it? I am amazed that Sweet P is still there. I like her but, she is in WAY over her head. Kit is a better designer than Sweet P, as was Kevin. I like this show. Not always crazy about the judging. Michael Kors can be hyper critical as can Nina... but, I like Project Runway. sooey

I did think Josh grew a LOT in his design ability and in his being more able to get along with his fellow designers, at first wow what a you know what! His collection on the run way was interesting I was not crazy about it. I thought Viktor should have won his stuff is impeccable, those prints that he made himself were amazing. I think he hurt himself by adding all the black sheer stuff on the last few days and leaving off the other stuff that the judges had all liked. I think he will be very successful. I was never very impressed with Kim's clothes, one or two here and there but in general nothing spectacular and that bubble but skirt OMG who on earth would wear that?? what woman goes shopping thinking hum I want to find a skirt that makes my butt look huge?? That was crazy. Anya really grew a LOT, for someone who could not even sew at the beginning wow big steps. I loved her colors, fabrics, patterns, love the cut and flow she really is good at that type of work but as they said can she do anything else one does not live on caftans alone. I did not think she should have won. But I love her stuff and would buy it if I was going on vacation to a beach somewhere! I just hope she can expand her style. I agree I can see handbags and jewelry since she was constantly wearing earrings she had made.
