She does look very well and pretty I might add. Her baby is a little cute guy. Oh, how wonderful this picture is. I hope she mends quickly as young people do with good doctors.

Oops--I should have explained that the baby's parents are my son and daughter-in-law. That makes him Lizzie's cousin.

That's a really lovely picture. She is so pretty. Baby just precious.

Is she having surgery on the legs? How can she recover from fractured thighs? Having been through that myself, I am curious. I hope you don't mind my asking. (Or would it be "me asking"--now I'm so nervous about grammar! LOL!)

Holding a precious little baby like Joey is sure to take Lizzie's mind off her accident and lift her spirits. The photo is beautiful. Lizzie is sweet and I love the expression on Joey's face.

Thanks, everyone. She had surgery the day after the accident, and has a rod in each leg. No casts. She gets around (short distances) using a walker. Has PT three times a week at home. Has pain meds, but a fair amount of pain, which tires her out. Her attitude is good.

The last time I asked about the driver (about four days ago), I was told he's paralyzed from the waist down, and no one seems to know more than that. Liz went to the funeral for the boy who died.....said it was hard.

I really wish I wasn't working these two weeks.....even just sitting watching a movie with her would be good for both of us, I think.

She is just beautiful. How does she do that after all she's been through? :)

Every time I see this baby boy's picure it makes me smile. He's so darn cute and amazingly alert for his age.

Took me awhile to "catch-up" (with and with-out WiFi for 3 weeks), but I must say "Wow, what a tragedy" and she looks like she is recovering like a real trooper. Adorable photo and I do hope she and the families continue to do well. (((HUGS)))

Lynn, she said the funeral was hard, but I think more emotion was displayed at the viewing (closed casket, I'm guessing), which she didn't attend. Her friends have been very much in evidence, visiting often. I wish I could say the same for me.....this temporary job came at a bad time. I look forward to hanging out with Liz soon.
