I am in a daze right now - seems that things are over with Rich. I go from staring into space to hysterically crying. I could use some of your KT-ness now.

Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. She may get out of the Critical Care Unit, and on to a regular floor, if they can find a room for her. They're bringing in a infectious disease doctor too, but the antibiotics seem to be doing the trick. She's on Leviquin (sp) which is one of the most powerful one out there (I think). Also, checking why her immune system is so low. This makes about the 3rd time this winter with pneumonia, for her. She never takes care of herself when shes sick, and lets it go to long. Long story, but she has her 2 grown sons living with her and her husband in a 1 bedroom, (plus a sm. computer room) apt. The oldest is to have hip replacement tomorrow around 1:00. He's been on steroids for a long time, and broke his hip jumping off a pickup at work. Sorry, getting off the topic here. Again, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. They are so appreciated. So, let me get this straight? He cheated on you with BM (yuck - at least it could have been with someone better!!) and yet he has never felt that he should be considerate of your feelings when telling you that "you should be the bigger person," etc.? He has always "taken her side" and you have always felt that he valued her feelings over yours. Before I knew about the cheating, I thought the entire situation was stinky but now that I know - how could he seriously say the things he has said when looking into your eyes and knowing that he betrayed you with her and was continuing to betray you?? I am furious on your behalf!!!

(((Gabby)))) My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours along with any others in "Ike's path". Just talked to our sister In Sugarland/Houston.... they had windows taped with mattresses up against them and had spent the day trimming tree branches. They were outside with most of their neighbors watching the sky. She mentioned tornados are a concern. I could hear the wind howling as we talked. I think this has convinced her to sell and move to Nevada!
