Reminds me of the guys on Sat nite Cops show, always saying it was NOT theirs.

Hilton and boyfriend Cy Waits, in a Cadillac Escalade, were pulled over by Las Vegas police, who said they smelled marijuana. Officers said they found a small amount of cocaine inside Hilton's purse.

Paris says it's not her purse and the substance, she thought, was CHEWING GUM

I also heard she was on probation in California and that she just "might" be in a little bit of trouble this time.

My life long best friend swallows hers. She told me when she was a kid her Aunt told her she should never swallow her gum because her guts would stick together and she'd die. This Aunt was only a few years older than my friend so they grew up together fought like cats and dogs. My friend said that caused her to swallow it every time just to prove her Aunt was wrong! LOL

Thank you, labmomma and meghane. Know that I would never consider having all my little girl's teeth pulled without a proper diagnosis. It's seems such an extreme measure to resort to. The vet said her teeth were fine, but didn't mention the gums. Why or how she's developed this problem at this age seems mysterious to me also. At one time I had 5 cats, and they all ate out of separate dishes, but did drink out of the same water dish~none of the others have had the problem. The vet said this was a non-transferable type of disorder, anyway. I'm still adding lots of water to her food, and she doesn't seem to have a problem eating, but haven't made the appointment for the vet dentist as of yet. I have two friends who have cats that get what look like a raised bump on the outside of the bottom lip. Both have been told it's a virus, and you just have to wait it out. I keep hoping this may be the same virus but still need to make that appointment. ;o)

What a pretty puppy. Good luck with her and please be patient. Training a puppy is not easy, but it is rewarding. An 18 week puppy is still a tiny baby, and one who was separated from her mom at 7 weeks if I read your post correctly. That is a bit earlier than most would recommend. 18 week old pups are still babies so potty 101 is ongoing. She may not be fully reliable for several more weeks if not months. Physically she really may not be able to hold it as long as you would like. She is still a baby with a tiny bladder. Potty 101 requires taking the pup out every 2 hours minimally, and certainly immediately after every meal and whenever she wakes after a nap. It is best to have her on leash for potty training. Walk her until she performs. Give her a verbal cue to potty and give her huge praise when she does so. You will soon have her going on command. I agree with the potty before play recommendation above. Never scold for accidents indoors, just clean them up thoroughly with an enzyme cleaner. Why? Because the accident was not her mistake. It is yours. You have not anticipated her needs. Scolding her will likely have her not wanting to potty in front of you anywhere and hiding out of your sight to go potty indoors. You don't want that. Really. The smaller the crate environment the less likely the pup will soil it, but she should still be going out every couple of hours during the day. Tethering to you also works. Rush her outdoors if she even seems about to squat. Always praise for pottying outside.

background check is a good idea, thanks. the kids are fine now, they're with their parents & grandmother, calling cps would be wasting cps's time & resources. if Lucy does indeed move to an apartment & take the children with her & move the guy in, & if at that time her husband doesn't take the children, then, yes, cps would have to be called. good idea, tos, maybe husband can get some assistance. yes, Lucy has been diagnosed; that's why she has meds. meds that she isn't taking, but she has 'em. & her husband does know the whole idea; he's just hanging in there & hoping it'll blow over. & maybe it will, so far she hasn't moved, & in her depressed frame of mind I don't know that she has the necessary ability to follow through. yes, I agree she doesn't need more children. I just think that the fact that she had so many so fast might have something to do with her depressed state. her husband hasn't had her admitted to a hospital because he, for the time being anyway, doesn't have any way to care for the children 24/7. I'll let Sandy know, & she can encourage him to check into those programs. maybe if he gets some housing & daycare assistance, her husband can get her into a hospital; at least he & the kids would have a safety net if or when she crashes. thanks, tracy, for your helpful suggestion & for your empathy & supportiveness. these children's safety may depend on someone not directly involved, someone whose problem it isn't. if this young mother does indeed move out & take all these little ducklings with her & move the "new guy" in, her husband can take the children back, but he'd have to have a way to take care of them. & if the new guy hurts them before their father can make arrangements, then cps will get involved, but a great deal of damage will have been done. thanks to all; I'll pass your suggestions to Sandy, & I know she'll appreciate it.

I think Paris went to jail for driving without a license, cried a lot and acted suicidal, so her sentence was shortened to just a few days. Maybe this time she'll get a whole week.

Someone needs to take both these young ladies and teach them to assume responsibility forbad behaviour. They irritate me to the nth degree, they do not deserve any attention nor any media attention.

I also read that she opened the purse....that wasn't hers....and took out a lip gloss....that probably, also, not hers and applied it to her mouth. EEwww. Like all the press on Lindsy. I don't understand why Paris is 'news'.

She needs to do about two years of volunteer work. Find out what real life is all about. Make that without cosmetics...lip gloss and all. There's more to life than party, party and looking pretty.

The amount of cocaine in her procession was about equal to the amount found in a bottle of Coca-Cola back when cocaine was legal. Cocaine has been around for a long, long time and has only become highly regulated very recently in history. This all just seems like such a waste of police resources to me. The laws need to be more realistic.

If she broke the law, she should be treated just like anyone else and not be given special treatment, but I don't think that will happen. For some reason cocaine is viewed as a harmless pastime for the rich and a scourge to society when the arrestee is is not a wealthy Yuppie.

Um, no they don't. The devastation that illegal drug use has caused on our society is uncalculable. It was probably a small amount because she (and her boyfriend who was DRIVING) probably already snorted or smoked it or did whatever with it. I say throw the book at the spoiled entitled brat for endagering the public.
