I got past 35! But now stuck of 56 which is the split screen with the chocolates and black screened jellys. I can't seem to get to the bottom level and when I do miraculously I can't keep back the growing chocolates. It makes me crazy how slow the game is to clear so I can click on something, but meanwhile the chocolates keep invadingâ¦. I think I need a striped one and a dotted chocolate, but those are so hard to get in the small upper area! Hate this gameâ¦..

calliope - when we last had our wills rewritten I went in with plans for a Trust to pay for our dog's care - but the lawyer had never prepared such a document. I did contact another lawyer I knew (with a major firm) and he told me the cost of such a Trust would be exhorbitant and when it came down to it, under Canadian law, pets are chattels and that is what it would come down to - and the Trust might well be challenged. Even if we had a Trust paying out funds to the person who took our dog, it would not guarantee the quality of life that we would want for our dog - think of the horror stories we read/hear of all the time. This is why we went with Plans A and B people - with Plan A person definitely in a position not to be challenged by any family member for control of the funds - or our dog. There is a group in Canada trying to have our laws changed re pets. I think that in some states - maybe California is one - you can leave your estate to a pet "retirement home' - a fancy one - and your dog will receive lifetime care. And also that maybe if you leave funds to a person to care for your dog that said person must take the dog and treat him/her well. We have an American Eskimo and Eskies do not do well in a kennel type of environment. And they sure aren't dogs that are suited to living outdoors despite their name. Changing the breed's name to American Eskimo from Spitz during WWI was not the best choice - it implies a sled dog - in fact they have a double coat of hair - much like Persian cats - and love to be warm in the house. Now there is a Canadian Eskimo dog - a totally different type of dog - lives in the very far north.

I also adopted a dog with "issues." A one year old (now 3 yrs old) australian shepherd mix. i dont know what her story is but she tore up shoes, carpet, walls, cell phones, couches, and urinated, etc, for the first year. At first i punished her. I crated her (she tore up the crate), told her she was 'bad', etc. Well, I realized this wasnt helping. I was only increasing her anxiety. so i tried an indirect approach. We started obedience training and trick training (i read books about dogs with anxiety, watched other dog trainers, and talked to other dog owners). I ignored her bad behavior. I left her bags, old boxes, with treats in them for her to tear up. And she would either spend hours playing at the river, going on walks, or to an indoor uncaged doggie day care where she could get all her anxiety out. It helped her tremendously to have me leave her for a little while at a time and realize i was coming back. she was extremely shy at first but leaving her at the doggie day care increased her confidence ten fold. the obedience training let her know i was in charge and helped her feel more secure. Teaching her tricks helped me see how she thinks and learn to communicate with her in a fun and positive way. And one last change was I got her a cat to keep her company while I'm gone. Its been over a year since she's torn anything up or urinated in the house. My dog certainly needed training but i found out so did i. I know my dog well now. She's my baby and she was worth it. i hope you have luck with your puppy.

I am glad you all were interested in my Bella. Celeste, I hope you feel better quickly. You are a busy woman, and have plenty to do without rescuing...Zeus is such a beauty, he fills lots of heart space already. Kitchendetective, glad you caught up on Bella...thanks for commenting. Sherry, she stayed around even when she was very shy, so I think it was a little of both. Alex, there was a beautiful male too, wild, but he had begun to take food from my hand...I called him Higgins, Higgins would come to eat when I called "Kitty, Kitty", and soon we noticed that he had started limping and the following day the limp was quite bad, so we trapped him and took him to the vet. Both bones in the leg were broken, we had it set and splinted, but he died when they brought him out from under the anesthesia. I cried like a baby. There is one more feral that sometimes comes to feed, and I will trap and neuter and return her before spring (and kittens) if I can catch her. she is quite skitish...I have to do this out of self defense since cats always find me in the garden, and I need no more cats. Nancy, Bella has is so tame and so loving. I am enjoying her very much. It has been a saga. Cindy! So nice to see your name and a post from you, I have missed you. How are your cats, and the beautiful swans? This silly cat (don't they always) came up to me in the garden...our lives are filled with cats who found me in the flowers! As I hinted, there is a Murphy whose story I will share one day soon. Thanks you for your kind words and interest in Bella, Maryl. Higgins was enough sad story for me, surely don't need one with Bella. Thank you all again for your comments. kay
