I missed something on Glee...fill me in?

I watched Glee when Fin's mom and Curt's dad were thinking of getting married or just moving in together. I remember Fin and Curt were going to have share a room, and so Curt redecorated the room. But I never saw what happened after that. Apparently the relationship didn't work out...what happened to the mom and dad?

Also, are the Glee episodes being aired now reruns? New ones start in the fall, or are these new?

I just watched the mattress commercial. That was really good!

The episode you're referring to was shown after the first 12 or 13. They are currently rerunning the first 12 or 13. The second batch of 9, I think, are coming out on DVD in Sept.The reruns are back on Tuesday nights, their regular night, again.

New ones in the fall, yes, YAY!

Loved the mattress one, I was tired of Mr. Shue's wife and her fake pregnancy.

What's Mr. Shue doing with her...he's a good guy and she's dimwit. He would be better with the school counselor, but who knows?

But but...what happened to Curt and Fins' parents?

I suspect it's what your husband said. With nothing on paper, if these buyers come back and haggle, there's no contract between you and her agency. If it were me, I'd just tell her that if they do decide on submitting a contract, to give a jingle and until then tell her not to waste her time or yours. She may be playing games with "them". Maybe they felt pressured. I have never had a party submit a contract and ask for it back immediately. That's strange. Who knows?

I'm going against the majority here - given that you won't be looking at the fireplace year round (only a major focus in the colder mnths), I'd focus on putting the tv where it makes the most sense (where the most # of people can see it comfortably) since it will get the most use. If hubby is handy, any thought on putting the fireplace up high-ishy on the wall? Kinda modern? Would allow for another chair to be placed in the room perhaps (I'm keen on lots of seating) Did you say anything about venting the fireplace? Will that make a difference in the placement? I'd love to shove a fireplace into my tiny livingroom, but think that it would need to be on wheels (to be removed in the summer) - hahahaha!

in the GW lighting forum you can discuss this level of technical detail. Know how to compare light output to power consumption. Light is output in LUMEN, and power is in Watts. For now, learn the difference between those lights that are in the incandescent family, and those that are not. incandescent family = produce heat which you have to pay to remove (with more A/C) = produce light as a secondary output ( a minor fraction of their energy consumption ) = all xenons, halogens, and old fashioned bulbs. = obviously, these will have a higher Watt-to-Lumen ratio than the next group of lights and those that are not. = produce light primarily ( a great portion of their energy consumption ) = therefore do not produce much heat ( so you save money twice, by not producing heat, and not paying to remove it (with more A/C) . ) = LED's, fluorescent slimline tubes, compact fluorescent bulbs. = obviously, these will have a lower Watt-to-Lumen ratio than the previous group of lights In terms of light quality, fluorescents can now produce beautiful white light.

More exciting news.....Firemanswife and hubs became the parents to three precious little girls. Children of her cousin. Their instant parenthood has been the sweetest news I have heard in a long time.

Socks, here is what has happened so far with Kurt and Finn's parents:

His earlier hope comes true, in Theatricality, where Burt invites Carole and Finn to move in with them. Carole is of course excited by the idea, however Finn is extremely reluctant, primarily out of the fear that because he and Kurt will be living together in the same room, it will convince everyone else that he is pursuing a sexual relationship with the other boy. His fears are made more intense by the class assignment of performing a Lady Gaga song for Glee. Kurt, in an attempt to seduce Finn goes to elaborate attempts at making Finn feel welcomed, however cross the line of Finn's existing comfort levels. When Kurt final re-decorates the room in an overly flamboyant manner, Finn finally snaps, demanding that the room be changed to be less "faggy". Kurt is horrified by Finn's explosion of homophobia, but not nearly as much as Burt, who overhears and becomes furious. Storming into the room, Burt tears into Finn, stating that he though he was a better person. Burt then proceeds to throw Finn out of his home, despite the problems it might cause his relationship with Carole. Finn rushes out of the room, while Kurt is left devastated. Finn proceeds to make several attempts reconciling with Kurt, all of which are rejected, until at last Finn saves Kurt from several bullies attempting to assault Kurt for wearing his Lady Gaga costume, while wearing one of his own.

Can't wait for the new season which starts mid-September I believe.

I had actually seem that episode but had forgotten. (thank goodness they do a review of recent events before the shows or I'd probably be lost!)

Thanks, Lydia...so it just seems the parental relationship has just dropped out of the story for the moment.

It's a fun program.
