Did not used to do that! However, ended up getting into the practice when the house was for sale. One never knew when a real estate agent would bring someone through. Became soooo much neater in other things, too.

I get mine half made before I get out of it each morning. Then get out of bed, do bathroom duties, then finish making it before I do anything else. Dh also makes his soon as he gets up.

There is that thought about perhaps letting it 'air' out a little, but I hate to see an unmade bed. There is no chance that I will forget it if it is done before I leave the bedroom.

It is today, occasionally I don't. Once in a while I allow myself the disgrace of just letting it go and DH never mentions it so he must not mind :) So tedious, every morning - and the master is at the far end of the house.

But we worked last week on the landscape again and took out an aging plum, limbed up some large rhododendrons to more 'tree' shaped and opened up a little bit of a view to the river below us from the living room. Also the master, I can see some of the river and the college on the hill on the other side of the water from our bedroom now - and I'm afraid DH will be taking anyone who might stop (we have a lot of drop in company) back there to show them our project. Don't want to be caught with an unmade bed :)

Nope. My spondylolisthesis was so bad this morning, I barely made it to the floor to stretch enough to walk.

But typically, it is. I fling one side and then get out and straighten the other, until it's smooth. And fluff the pillow. And put the remote next to the cable box so I can find it. Orderly!

Nope. I've given up. Harry takes a morning nap and an afternoon nap, so what's the use.

Mine gets made first thing in the morning. This afternoon I took a nap and now it's NOT made. I won't make it again before I go to bed tonight.

I am a air out person~~~our bedroom is upstairs so no one would ever see it~~~but I do not like to get into an unmade bed. Our rule is the last one up has to make it;) We started that when I worked and I left before DH and he did not make it grrr. That took care of that.

I have my coffee and computer time in the morning and when I go up to change out of my PJ's I make it~~now that I am retired I am most always the last one up.

Make the bed? I do that when I change the sheets.

I make the bed every morning. I love having a tidy room.

I have never left my bedroom in the morning without making the bed before I do anything else. The only time is when I strip the bed on Friday. And I have seven big pillows to place. I am the only person to see this room. My daughter is like that too, but my granddaughter never was. It would grind on my nerves when I was at my son's house and saw her messy room.

Mine is always made first thing after my shower. The bedroom is in full view off the main hallway so it would be unsightly not to have it made.

Mine is always made before I leave the room each morning, not to say that the rest of the room is all neat and tidy. But the bed is made...

Always make my bed the minute I get up. It was mandatory when I was growing up and it's just something I do without thinking.

I make mine daily, right before I take a shower. I set out clean clothes, do a quick pick-up in the room, open the window in season, and make the bed.

Making the bed is a bit more of a "chore" since Harry sleeps with us. I keep a king-size sheet spread over the made up bed. It supposedly keeps him off our covers.

Since he's shedding this time of year I have to take his sheet outside and shake it well. Then I take the other sheets off and shake them, too. We are all hot natured so we don't use blankets in the summer.

So I strip, shake, and remake the bedding everyday. Heavy sign; he's worth it.

The Hairy Harry Dog will not go to bed at night unless the bed is made, with his sheet neatly in place. He's learned over the years to not get on the bed without his sheet (he has four so I can wash them every couple of days) in place.

Years ago I noticed that just pulling the bed up doesn't work for him. He is a special, royal, Prince and the Pea character and must have the bed made nicely. In the winter he wants his own little pillow and top cover, too.

And sometimes he just sleeps in Papa's lap. This was taken about five years ago, before Harry became a Greybeard and Silverback!

Yes. I make it as soon as I get up - before I leave the room to take a shower.

Today, mine is unmade, but will be made up, sheets folded back, pillows fluffed before bedtime tonight.

it's one of the first things I do every morning. Can't stand an unmade bed--unless I'm in it!!
