Stephanie-in-ga said one time that she doesn't seperate her laundery into colors, except for the bright colors that you wash seperate the first few times when they are new. Now I no longer seperate my wash colors either and she's right, it is much easier, and she was also right that my whites wouldn't get dingy from it.

I also learned about how great Gain detergent is, and have been using it ever since.

I know I've learned other things,too, I'll come back when I remember them.

I learn things all the time, too, but the one that comes to mind first is that this is where I first heard about microfiber cloths. I LOVE microfiber cloths!!

I learned for sure that bugs make old spices move on a paper towel.. eeek!

I have learned that animals shedding hair can be quickly managed with a damp cloth.

I have learned that some new foods are not even worth trying, because you all tried it first and gave us the gag factor.

I have learned that the cutest babies are growing up (FAST) with the largest bunch of aunties I have ever seen.

I have learned people that I have never met, really care about me and my sister, my kids and my furbabies.

I learned that my friends wonder if I have gone off the deep end talking about all my imaginary friends on the internet.

But most of all, I have learned that I can come here whenever I am down or up, and my life gets the balance it needs from everybody's posts. The KT has taken the edge off of my life on so many occasions, I just cannot imagine myself without this lifeline.

I learned that you don't have to rip out the center of a disposable toilet paper liner. LOl. I can't believe I didn't know that. The recipes on here are great!

When I'm sad, lonely, depressed I know I can come here and it's like having family with me.

I've learned that I can have a number of good, trusted friends in distant places - people whom I've never seen face to face.

Sort of like high-speed pen-palism of an earlier generation. And in multiples ... for dozens, sometimes hundreds, read our single message.

And I've greatly enjoyed meeting some of the people whom I'd met and come to know (and sometimes teased) on Gardenweb and the KT.

I'm sorry that so many who participate are North Americans, as I'd like for us to get to know others, and they us, in somewhat more depth, for we really know - and appreciate - so little of different peoples, now.

And what we don't know much about, we're more inclined to fear, at times, I think - quite often, unnecessarily, when we get to know various kinds of folks better.

I have to ask,,What is a disposable toilet paper liner? Then I will know something new today.
When I asked my dh just now he said, it could be a toilet seat liner. If so , How do I use it correctly? lol, I can't believe I'm asking that.

Well Toni, if you had been watching Oprah you would know the proper way to use the Toilet Bowl Liner. LOL! I don't just "learn" from the KTers you know.

When you lay the paper seat over the toilet you don't have to tear out the center. However, if you do tear out the center piece fold it up and put it in your purse. LOL! It can be used to blot your makeup if it gets oily. LOL!

I learned to laugh at myself more.....and not to take things so serious. Like true friends you don't care if my house isn't clean, my clothes are stained or torn and my hair isn't done. We enjoy each others companionship in the wee hours of the morning....someone is always up to keep me company. Great recipes, craft ideas, where to visit and what to see, what's on sale and where, what's the latest good read, a perfect home made cleaning solution.......all kinds of things, I'm never bored and I learn to accept things that come up and I can't change.

I've learned that no matter what time of the day or night, there's always somebody here to keep me company and I always leave with a smile no matter what my mood was when I logged on!

I learned, from Bonny, to use the light weight fleece material in a Swiffer mop instead of the commercial ones. I also, thanks to Pattico, I think, will dig some geraniums that are in full bloom in the fall, shake off the dirt and put in water. Hopefully, they will continue to bloom.

I have learned more things than I can list here. Any time I want information, or suggestions, I turn to the KT and I've never been disappointed.

Also I have learned that people you've never met in person can be so caring. I've met 39 KTers in person and I love them all. We almost feel like family when together.

I have received so many cards from KTers and I have them hanging by ribbons around my hall door. I have to walk through that door to get to my bedroom and bathroom. I feel a great strength every time I walk under those cards.

Thanks to all my good friends at the KT, You've enriched my life in so many ways. And I look forward to meeting many more in person.

I learned to boil hamburger instead of frying it. Cooks faster, easier and boils off the fat.

I love learning about the different parts of our country (and a few others). It's so interesting to learn of the differences and the likenesses among us. From regional differences in how we speak,what we like to eat and drink to small town life versus big city life. The KT is a wonderful cultural and geographical lesson.

I've learned to use clear plastic placemats, cut to size, to line my fridge shelves for easier spill clean up. Thanks to Joy, CA for that one!

I've learned so much here that it boggles my mind.
