Here's an update sent this morning. ----------------------------------------------------- Want to say "THANK YOU" for the prayers, God is working--he had hives, they gave him Benadryl, which completely cleared up the hives and the Dr's were amazed, they thought it would only help with the itching. He had a rough night but this morning woke up hungry. The dr's said he is producing the toxin but all of his "numbers" were up/potassium, kidney, etc. so they are pleased but will keep a close watch on him until Saturday so he is still not out of the woods but at this point he is much better and God is answering the prayers.

Thanks to you all. I just got an email from Cindy, a co-worker of Randy's who's managing the schedule for meals, & she said that Brenda had taken a bad turn, & they're working to get her re-hydrated & stable. Family members are coming in as quickly as they can. Please keep them all in your thoughts & prayers. Thank you again.

Good wishes and hopes for a better future winging their way to this family ... and some prayers offered on their behalf. I've often heard people claim that everyone has troubles, and I recall a parishioner family that had a long series of them, including a son in law killed in a train accident, daughter with young granddaughter died of cancer, another daughter not fully functional, and a barn burning. When someone said about everyone having troubles, or "what goes around ... comes around", or something like that, and someone referred to that family's ongoing difficulties, it made people in that community reconsider their earlier somewhat superficial judgement. Similar game to this one. ole joyful
