I love all that your are cooking. It sounds so good.

I hope to avoid cooking today. Might pick up a rotisserie chicken from our local little market. Or if I do cook, I could cook up some sausages with onions and peppers, like you are doing. I have a recipe like that which also calls for some sliced cabbage thrown in.

I'm making Cheeseburger Potato Soup...I think it is Pattico's recipe...YUM!

I'm not sue what's going to be on my plate but, bigbaby and I just canned 7 quarts of home grown tomatoes. Does that count?

Tonight I have to drive to the bus station 50 miles away to pick up my daughter. She visited her boyfriend in college this weekend and is returning tonight. I hate driving in the dark! And today I have to do a lot of cleaning, including strippng the beds and washing all the blankets. Getting ready for back-to-school, I want everything clean!

I don't know yet. Jammer cooked napalitos for breakfast. I don't really care for them so I ate a ham sandwich.

We might put some ribs on the grill later.

At some point I think we will have what we were going to eat yesterday! LOL

Tonight we're having pasta with sauteed veggies, home made dinner rolls, and home made apple pie from the apples on my tree.

Connie, that reminded me...I bought some corn on the cob...need to cook it, so will have that. I also may thaw out a little piece of sirloin. Whatever....need to eat early because if I get in late from doing evening chores, I don't feel like cooking then.

Wish apples grew well here, Susan. I'd love to have an apple tree. There are a couple of varieties that do fairly well...I may have to look into getting them. I think you need two, so you have a pollinator.

When I visited my Mom at the Nursing Home last night she was having Sloppy Joes. LOL! It really looked good. I haven't had one in a long time.

Yes Marilyn...you need two different varieties for pollination of apple trees. You should plant some!

DH just suggested a BL&T for dinner. Works for me, since there are 10 tomatoes on the counter needing eaten and I some already cooked bacon and fresh leaf lettuce in the fridge. On whole wheat toast, sounds mighty fine. Maybe we will go out for some teaberry ice cream later.

I made beef barley soup per DH request. That hit the spot too! DH said it was so good, I should sell it LOL. I also made 2 apple pies and apple slice bars.

Today I made Paula Deen's bbq meatloaf. Did it on the BBQ, with bacon wrapped corn on the cob. Served with fresh off the vine tomatoes and radishes. Supposed to do the corn over a drip pan, so instead did it over the meatloaf. Lots of extra flavor! DH thought he was in heaven!

I just took DH out to rent some movies. He wanted a sandwich so we stopped off at Togos and got him one. I'm going to "escape" for a while and pick something up to eat later. Don't know what yet. Thinking Mexican.

Glenda, I just put it in a tinfoil-lined pirex dish (for easy clean up), at 350, for about 1 hour. In the last 15 minutes, I set the bacon-wrapped corn on the shelf over top, turned every few minutes til the bacon was crisp. If you can do it in the oven, you can do it on the Q!
