I have leftovers, but none of it tempts us. Whether or not we want it, we should use it up.

Turkey/chicken potpie. Daughter made 4 of these from leftover birds at Christmas and froze them. We were the lucky recipients of one. Will add a tossed salad and call it dinner. May have a small piece of tea cake for dessert later, also from daughter's freezer.

A new recipe for chicken enchiladas and a Lady Vols Basketball game. I'm hoping both will be winners!

It has been another busy day. Shopped in town for a few things then went to Amber's to watch Alyssa while the girls put together 16 centerpieces for the birthday tables. They are sure cute. I was too tired to fix much this evening, luckily I had bought a rotisserie chicken yesterday so I had some of that and just some bread and butter. I am going to bed pretty soon as I have another busy day ahead tomorrow.

Cheeseburger casserole from Tuesday. Very easy and tasty! Would like to finish it tonight since I can't eat meat tomorrow (Lent).

I went to lunch with the ladies today. Crab cake and sweet potato fries. I got so tired coming home (don't know why) but I could hardly keep my eyes open by the time I hit my neighborhood. I'm already in my p.j.'s. I will probably make a hamburger for DH and call it a night. Unless a get a second wind.

Oh Glenda, it is Sunday at church, right after the service. Celebrating another little year old boy's too. They are going to be serving lunch and I am fixing most of the food. It should be so much fun.

Corn and shrimp chowder with some crusty bread. Strawberry 1-2-3 Cake with cream cheese icing and fresh strawberries on top for dessert. I have the strawberries cut up and they have some sugar and balsamic vinegar on them.

We ate at Golden Corral yesterday it was pretty good hadn't been there for a while
I'm still stuffed maybe throw in a frozen Spaghetti and meatballs
a couple of those new WhooKNUU Oreo cookies for dessert

I just got back from the eye doctor and am very dilated so not attempting anything major, I think it will be chili dog's and chips.

We experimented with Chinese dumplings tonight. One sister left me the recipe to make for another sister. We think we will try it again with ALL the ingredients!

I'm back from dinner. It was great visiting with our snowbird friends and we talked for over two hours. We were neighbors when we both lived in the boonies and they moved back to Ohio shortly after we moved. We went on a cruise together with others from the neighborhood and had so much fun with them once. So now we e-mail and get together once a year :-(

Dinner--not so good. I ordered the fettucini alfredo with bacon-wrapped sea scallops. The salad that came with it was very good,the scallops cooked just right but the alfredo was disappointing, to say the least. It was a big plate of angel hair pasta with a huge glob of alfredo sauce out of a jar. Ick, ick, ick! What could be easier than alfredo sauce? It's just a little butter, cream, garlic and lots of parmesan. They had little rolls that came with the salad that looked a little like those biscuits at Red Lobster, but were floury and dry. Now I remember why we don't like to eat out.

Harry had fried oysters, baked sweet potato and hush puppies. He said on the way home it wasn't very good, but if it's dinner time I swear that man would eat plastic! Guess we won't be eating there again any time soon!

lindyluwho, shrimp and corn chowder sounds good, BUT when you come to my side of town to go back to trhe Cajun Steam, eh?

minnie, I've given up on the Golden Corral near me. Food consistency is not the same. No more for me.

patti, I had fried oysters last week, and asked for crispy. THey were so crispy I could't tell the oyster from the crust, ugh!

I had a banana with peanut butter and a piece of fudge.
I had a really healthy lunch.
DH is on his own....he played golf today and had lunch out with the guys.

Domino's pizza. Haven't had one for years and it will be that long before I order another one. If ever. Blech!

We finally settled on leftover Spanish Rice, with steamed asparagus. It was really good!

Angelaid, around here, Domino's is the least popular pizza chain.
