Good morning Kath and all. You sure take advantage of any and all festivals in the area. I wish, I would do more of that, but have really no one to come along. Would be more fun with someone.

How do you find out about all those activities?

I went walking already this morning. Stretched my walk all the way to the main road today, which would make it two miles.

Been online way to long, and need to go out and hang up my laundry.

Also plan to spray some round up today, as there is no wind. It's just that the grass is still wet from dew.

Moni, one of the respiratory therapists at work told me about the festival. His wife is Japanese. I'm thinking of joining the society too, they take trips to Japan and sponser visitors from Japan.

I still have a few rooms to paint but it sure makes a difference. Looks like a new house when it's finished. Plus choosing the colors is so fun! My problem is motivation ;-(

I have to clean the main bath and screened porch. It's seems I've been cleaning forever. I was a lot happier doing it when I could do the whole house in one day. Hmmph! My house is never cluttered so it's easy to let things slide, since it doesn't look bad.

We will have a great weekend since we're picking up DGD1 in Orlando tomorrow morning. I've missed her.

Yes, summer has flown by. I was certain it would since Nick is going off to Kindergarten.

Good afternoon. I'm off today, and I've been to market, to the local greenhouse and to the grocery store. Then I came home and made coffee cake. Now I'm going outside to do some work, but I may take a nap before long because I have a headache.

I'm cooking a nice dinner tonight because DS is moving out tomorrow.

I have already been for my walk. After that I dropped my car off at the dealership. Now I need to clean both bathrooms, do some laundry and then go out and wash the trike.

I love going to fairs and other local gatherings but don't have anyone that likes doing those things.

cleaning house today, fun fun fun! maybe see another movie... not sure... maybe start on a craft project... DS an DH are almost at DS's college in Ohio.. they drove DS's truck back... so I pick DH up at the airport sat night.

I just cut up some pineapple, and green pepper for some shrimp kabobs I'm making tomorrow at the river. I'd be there today, to get the mowing out of the way, but DD and family are here from California, and DD #3 is having us all there for a cookout around 5:30. So, we'll head up about 7:00 AM tomorrow morning so I can get it mowed by 9:00 or so. Last night mom and I went to DD#1's for taco's and taco salad. Then Saturday I'll be having everyone at the cabin/river for hotdogs/hamburgers and shrimp kabobs. Sunday my younger sister is having us all out there for a cookout and swimming. By 'all of us' it means 22 extra people for her and her DH. But she has lots of room outside, and a lake for the kids to swim in. It is to be 85° that day so it'll be fun. Plus they have a pontoon boat and BIL loves to give everyone rides around the lake. My sister's DD and her two little ones are flying in Sunday also, around 2:00. Nobody else knows this except me, and her mom, dad and sister. So everyone will be surprised big time. Another surprise is that I didn't blow the secret. Almost did yesterday though, when I asked mom when Heather had to go back? Luckily she is hard of hearing and didn't hear me start the question, so I quickly changed the subject. I don't know when the last time my DD from California, and my niece have seen each other. They always seem to miss during their visitations home. It'll be fun.

Today is only 65° so far with a high expected of 72. I've got my windows open, and the AC off.

Wow, I'm envious of all you manage to get done, Kathleen. I feel like a slug in comparison.

Just working, today ... and it's bee-yoo-ti-ful outside. Perfect weather, mid 70's with no (or low) humidity, little wind. I wish I could be out doing something! Yesterday I made DH and DS the Summer Tort (I think that's what it's called) that was posted here not long ago ... used fresh peaches and raspberries from the local farmer's market and man! was that good! I made one for work too, and it got gobbled up. I have just enough left, might have to make my guys another one. LOL!

Tomorrow DH and I will go yard-saling in the morning, but not too much else planned for the weekend. I should clean out the truck, it's been a looong time since I've done that.

We are still having summer weather. Supposed to be 101 today. And it hasn't rained in forever!
But I still feel fall coming on. Football season is starting and I love it!
I had to go to San Antonio this morning for my injection. I had the lady who used to clean my house come over to help me today. She is so sweet and does such a good job. She just left and my house is clean and sweet smelling, so I feel good.

I twisted my ankle last night and it's sore but feeling much better than it did last night. I don't plan to do anything for the rest of the day.

Hello All, had to be gone for a bit. Before I left I did a load of laundry, did some mopping and started matching up the lids with the different sized plastic totes I had bought this summer so I can start putting some things in them from my sewing room. I rode into town with Amber and we picked up some lunch at Hardee's and went to her house and ate. We started back to my house and here comes Cheryl and Terri, they had been to the vet's to pick up KC after his surgery. Terri made Amber and I each a pretty beaded Jesus bracelet. I gave Amber one of my sweepers and a crock pot as hers are not working. Their central air has quit so Norm is going to get someone to take a look and see if it can be fixed, hopefully today. I also loaned her my Roomba and sent half of the chocolate zucchini cake home with her. Mike has taken time off from his job (there is no work) and is working in Kentucky for his Dad for this week and maybe next. I am going to work somemore on my sewing room this afternoon. I don't plan on fixing supper, it is just me as he works late. Hope everyone else is having a good day. I also spotted a very large garter snake in Amber's back yard. Made sure the dogs didn't see it.
