Here's Shannon, who will be 15 on Sept. 3rd. A reporter was interviewing students at her high school about school starting and picked Shannon to talk to, so this picture was in the local newspaper. She recently got her braces off so she loves to smile. :)

She truly is a doll Eva. Very pretty girl. Looks smart as they come too. Plus, she's a TV star now. :)

She is adorable!! I have been reading a blog called Gaijin Mama, an American woman married to a Japanese man and I am wondering if your son is expected to work the long hours most Japanese men do and expected to go out with the crowd after work, or does he keep "American" hours? It is interesting reading her site. She has 8 or 9 y.o. twins and the girl twin is deaf and has cerebal palsy.

Lynn, she said the funeral was hard, but I think more emotion was displayed at the viewing (closed casket, I'm guessing), which she didn't attend. Her friends have been very much in evidence, visiting often. I wish I could say the same for me.....this temporary job came at a bad time. I look forward to hanging out with Liz soon. Thanks, everyone!
