Good Morning Today

How is your weather this morning. Ours is very nice as it started out in the 60's and is now at 75. Izzi and I had a nice ride around on my "big rig" and we took trash out to the can. I checked my tomato plants and there were no ripe ones today but lots of green ones. I am working in my house doing house work so far today. How is your weather today and what are you doing today?

Good morning Sue! It's hot here, already 81 here this morning. Cleaning the house today, maybe some outside work too, later this evening. Early evening we are picking up a Chinese student from the airport and taking him to his apartment in Lexington. I signed up for airport pick-up of international college students through the University of Kentucky.

Good morning....it's a lovely day, overcast with a nice breeze. We've had such muggy miserable weather that this feels great. Family just left after being up here to celebrate DSIL's father's 90th BD. DGD, her DH and year -old from CO also were here, so that was fun. Now I really should take advantage of the cool day and do something constructive.

Tiara is beautiful and its a joy to see such a gorgeous bloom first thing this morning. Its sunny here today and the temp is supposed to be 60. I was planning to work in the yard today but my 16 year old got up with a fever of 101.6 and I'm trying to cough up a lung so something tells me we'll be going to the Immediate Care clinic. Strep is going around his school. Yuk. As always your pictures are beautiful and always a joy to wake up to. Thanks Lucy.

Thank you Jodi and Ryan! I was a little bit artistically inclined this morning and it was my day off...lol! The morning light coming from the patio door was just right at that time. I wish I had a better camera than my "point and shoot". Sometimes the camera would adjust the real green color of the flower to yellowish white as you can see in the last pic. It is a stable variety too. It's flowers last season was exactly the same. To my dearest Lora...These pics are for you. I miss you.

Some were actually inadvertent, but fit into the puzzle perfectly! Have a wonderful Sunday. Cold and sunny here. Chuck is going to help John with some painting at his new house-they settled on Friday and he and Kelly are so excited. Today, they are painting the front door red. I will be working on an Educational Report for a kiddo I tested as part of special ed eligibility. All that work and she is moving this coming week! We still have to finish the process. Oh well. Cynthia, who accidentally supersized the stars today, but decided you all deserved that (besides, it is too much trouble to redo-ha)

QOD 1 - Receptionist/Secretary/Advertising Agent/Graphic Design/Therapist/Gardener/Office Manager/Trainer/Data Input and yes sometimes I do windows!!! at a local real estate office. QOD 2 - Taxes have been done for a while, but going in the mail today - can't see giving the government money sooner than we have to. I am taking a ride to Syracuse on Sunday to visit my mother and sister for a couple of days. It will just be us girls and we are going to watch some chick flix and have a lot of laughs. I am bringing the movies Chocolat, Spanglish, My Life As a House and Under the Tuscan Sun. I am not taking the highway and going through a lot of small towns that I have never been to, so it will be a 4+ hour adventure for me. I put a deposit on a kayak yesterday and am so excited. I am using my French Lick money to buy it. I will pay for it when I go to try it out, but I have sat in one on the ground and really liked the feel of it. Suzanne - I was in Manchester Center yesterday. We had a nice lunch and did a little shopping. Of course, I thought of you. Beautiful day for a ride. If I don't get a chance to check in until next week - have a great weekend.

Good morning! It's 77 degrees here, and it feels very nice. Today I decided to send a vase to my brother in Victoria, B.C. It was our mother's, and it belongs to him now, but it was expensive to ship so he asked me to hold it for him. My dad gave it to him last summer when he was visiting. Anyway, I decided to send it to him, and had to go to two courier shops to get this done. Expensive, but he will be happy.

I also did the dishwasher, and some laundry and will do some ironing soon. DH and I are either going for lunch or for dinner, and we have a short meeting to go to tonight. I will also probably go for a walk, and do some weeding. Nothing special, but I like having a day off to putter like this.

Overcast and breezy here this morning as well, looked longingly at the pool......;) Went to weigh in this morning, was happy when I stepped off that scale! Since my boss is on the west coast my mornings are quiet but the afternoon and evening is nuts.
