I feel like I am getting the red card today for showing up so late lol.

Good Morning all

Today was another day when the one thread popped in my eyes BEFORE I posted. Were I HAD to go read that first.

Kirsty's grandson! What a joy it was to see Wyatt and to see that she too has a light out there that comes and brightens her sometimes dark days.

I hope that everyone who wishes life was better right now will get something today or very soon that shows you that in misterious ways God makes sure that life goes on and even though HE is not answering your prayers the way you think they should be answered. Take a good look. There is maybe someone in your life he send to you to help you through things.

So keep your faith.

Tiara is beautiful and its a joy to see such a gorgeous bloom first thing this morning. Its sunny here today and the temp is supposed to be 60. I was planning to work in the yard today but my 16 year old got up with a fever of 101.6 and I'm trying to cough up a lung so something tells me we'll be going to the Immediate Care clinic. Strep is going around his school. Yuk. As always your pictures are beautiful and always a joy to wake up to. Thanks Lucy.

O she's so purdy Lucy! Spring is almost here!!!! I have seen too many signs outside that say spring is knocking at the door, if not having one foot in..See...my Metuchen Moe was right with his prediction, lol..winter isnt gonna hang around any longer than it should! Isnt that site cool?! I loved playing around yesterday getting my pic to just the right size to use as an avatar..and my son did my sig for me, I told him what I wanted and he did it..I dont know if he thought I was incapable or what, lol..but he wanted to help so I let him. I know its going to be a great success for them. Can't waaaaait till the store is open!! Thank you for sharing your lovely Tiara wit us this morning :)

Hey Gardyloo!!! WELCOME!!! nice to see you posting!!! I really didn't find either of them to be very strong sented at all.. The front of the house where the Santa Rosa and Cherub are WOW!!! amazing BUT.. there is also ginger blooming...LOL Hard to tell what is what unless you stick your nose in them.. We have been blessed with some dreary misty days with means you get to enjoy all the scents for a little while longer..I will say that Solid Gold is a beautiful easy to grow plant that smells like Honey!!! This is how i see it. This forum is to educate and discuss,perhaps this should go to the discussion side,but,there are those out there,who,do not know that chippies will gouge out their own eyes to stop the burning sensation from the red pepper.So, some may find this information to be very helpful,as no one really wants to be cruel to animals.We have all done things in our life,that,later, we found out it was the wrong thing to do,therefore,we change what we were doing,right? When you know better,you do better. I have had red pepper in my eyes when canning,and believe me,you do want to gouge out your eyes,so,if one does this ON PURPOSE,then, it is cruelty to animals. We do,as Lainy said, all need to learn to coexist with creation. I do not own,all the hosta i have in my yard, i may have bought them with money,but,i am only the caretaker of them,they will become some one else's when i am gone,it is my responsibility,and great joy to have them for awhile.The same with chippies and other living things. We have a pond,there was a time that i was furious with the coon getting into my pond,but,hey,they only do what is natural to them, and they were here first, so i learned to do better,and accept them,we live in harmony,and it is nice,fun actually. I was at my neighbores one dy last year,she feeds the chippies,we were sitting on her porch,and the chippies actually climbed up my pant leg,over my shoulders,to get to her and some sunflower seeds she was feeding them,it was totally awsume.They very gently took the seed from her,way cool!!!!! Oh. My. God. This must be a dream. May I ask three things, hoping not to repeat any past questions to you: 1. Being in the UK, may I assume you can leave your pots where they are during your winters? 2. Why do you have foil taped to your pots; to keep slugs out? 3. Are you pots clay or plastic or both? Suzie I hope you and DS get better real quick! Something tells me even tho your not feeling well, you'll be out there anyway with that weather, lol. We're into the 40's today..50's tomorrow.

That's a beauty Lucy! Late huh. I was on and got off so still get the opportunity to check out your post of the day! Wouldn't it be great is you could set up your computer to post your pictures automatically according to a calendar of pictures you set up for each day? Then, you wouldn't even have to wake up early, LOL!

Suzie how did it go at the clinic? Are you both doing better? I just have to include you in my prayers in a minute to get well again.

Eloise just posting the picture...hmmm that sure would be something. But the fun part also is, the *Spontanious* thoughts I get when I post the pictures ;-)

Change that. Call me and wake me up early. I need to call the vet and try to get her back in. She needs an injection. Vomiting really bad and diarrhea really bad for the last hour. Finally sleeping again but I'm gonna stay up a while longer and make sure she doesn't get sick again. Has the slimy drool and not looking good. Damn I'm so upset.
