Yummy! I haven't had roast or porcupine meatballs in forever! Pam, sounds like a good meal, even if pricier than expected. I love a snack night dinner, and with friends...how fun! Debby, that sounds like exactly what I would order. I'll have to remember for next time. I've only been to Panda once. I think we'll just have a plate of nachos to use up some meat, cheese and corn chips. A left overs/clean out the fridge and pantry night.

Angelaid -- that's one of my favorite meals! (Unless, of course, it comes in a frozen tray! I can't tell you how many times I ended up with a Swanson's turkey TV dinner when I was growing up and my parents had an evening meeting of their social groups!) Tonite, I stir-fried some cut-up chicken breasts, seasoned with lemon pepper and ginger (with a little cornstarch to give them a bit of a coating). I put the chicken over bagged salad spinach and diced orange bell peppers and had some poppy seed dressing on top. I'd been to Sears and Macy's earlier to check out their mattresses and I'm surprised I actually came up with a dinner idea I liked -- actually, I've made it plenty of times, but not recently.

Shrimp kabobs on the grill, served on top of a big salad made of all kinds of good things. We're harvesting baby greens and mixed greens from the garden again, so that was a treat. I made a spicy thousand island type dressing that tasted good with the shrimp.

Great dinner Bob. I love meals where you feel so good after eating it. We had well-done roast beef with carrots around the roast. Cut 2 whole onions in wedges (not through the bottom) and drizzled with olive oil and worcestershire and soy sauce. Wrapped in foil and baked. Mashed potatoes. Made 2 loaves of honey-whole wheat bread today as well.

Chicken noodle casserole made from the leftover roast chicken I made last night. (Using baking powder on the skin, of all things...see double acting baking powder thread over on cooking forum, if interested!)

We just had lunch! Tamales from the tamale factory in Lubbock when we went to see the babies yesterday. They are soooo good.Sprinkled a little cheese on top and nuked them.Probably some of the same for dinner.DH is easy to please, especially when there's fresh tamales in the house.LOL They would be good with some homemade chili on top but I'm not making chili today!

I'm trying to do a High Protein Low Carb Diet. After all the Chicken yesterday and the Day before. I think we are going to have Steaks with Spinach Veggie Salad. High Protein 2% Milk. Main Main is having a loaded baked potato.

DS and I went to IHop for dinner/lunch today. I ordered the Ham and three egg omelette.
I've never seen anything so big in my life. I asked the gal if it wasn't a 32 egg omelette. He ate half to make me feel better. And it came with 3 pancakes!!!
