I am amazed at the friends I have here. I want to state that first and foremost. I am also in tears at the thoughtfulness, friendship and caring that has been shown to me. Dan, you are a wonderful friend for having thought of such a wonderful surprise and "cheer me up"! I have gotten a package from Dan, Linda and one today from Vic. You guys have no idea just how much it has touched not only me, but Cliff and the kids as well. Thanks, everyone for you nice compliments! DS is in NYC already....has been a week and will be there two more weeks. Then he will go back to Tokyo to help finish up things there. They will be leaving Tokyo very early August. I am happy for me they are moving back but sad for DDIL and the kids. They will be so far away from both sets of grandparents. DS works for Citibank.....does something with computer soft ware and somehow manages the big portfolios for Japanese clients. He did work for Merrill Lynch for a long time but Citibank lured him away. Just in the nick of time. Jake's third birthday is August 3rd......first birthday in NYC, 2nd birthday in Tokyo and not sure where he will celebrate his third. They could have moved to Hong Kong....glad they chose NYC.

Oh Carol, he is just adorable~~as usual! Now I've got to go searching for Mio's picture. Congratulations on another grandbaby. You must be just beside yourself to see them. Daddy did good...Jake's breakfast looks yummy. Heck, sometimes I'd brush my son's hair and it'd still stick up like that! :-)
