tilipia taco

was freshly cooked, but not spicey enough.

had a tamale that was sooo good, and I'll go back for another one, sometime.

I read that fish taco's are gonna be a big new food item at CHEESECAKE FACTORY of all places

I'm surprised they are just getting around to it..They have been so popular for ages now....I am not crazy about tilipia though.too bland and has a strange taste too me.

this is the first Mexican restaurant close to me that has them on their menu and it was my first time to visit this particular restaurant

hi ladyjane When my first arrived he perched and drank for a full minute I would say, seemed to be well schooled on feeders. But I have not had a visitor in at least the last 24hrs when I have watched. As you say let the fun begin.

About four or five years ago, when I began actively feeding birds suet, I had a lot of Juncos. I try to add scraps to a tray that sits on my central air unit, and that's where they'd typically eat, but they'd also venture to my hanging suet. I also read that they love fritos, so perhaps adding crushed fritos to my suet attracted them as well. I don't use black sunflower seeds because the hulls contain a toxin that inhibits plant growth - and I'm an avid gardener / landscaper. In addition to suet I also provide nyger seed, safflower seed and wild mix bird seed. Ever since I added millet to my suet the wrens stuck around and refuse to leave. Huge mistake. At the same time I've added more evergreen trees & shrubs to my landscape, and they love the shelter it provides near my feeders. Especially considering we have chicken hawks (coopers hawks) in the area, so I try to keep my feeders near brush or trees.

A while ago, some suggested using colored plastic toothpicks inside the containers as a code, besides using something that might fade in the sun. A red pick might be for Stokesia, a blue could be used for calendula, etc. When you run out of colors, just use two or three picks in the container. Keep notes on which color and how many picks you used for which seeds. I used this method very successfully last year. Also, instead of using tape, which can be sticky and difficult to open and close, someone suggested using a hole punch, or punching holes with a knife that has been heated, and threading twistums, (or the little twist ties that are used to close bread wrappers), through the holes to make a closure instead of using tape. I punched three spaced out openings in the top part and three matching holes in the bottom of each jug, secured them with the ties, and it too worked well for me. It is much easier to open and close the container than using tape. It doesn't seem to matter if the opening around the middle isn't tight.

I love precuts, especially charm packs. Don't want you to be disappointed but the 5" charm packs from Moda and others are not always a square 5". Don't want you to think it's your cutting or anything. This is a common complaint of those who use precuts. That's why I love the altered nine patch. You just lay out 9 - 5" charms that you like together. Sew them up. When you are done you square them up so they are all the same size. 3 x 5" = 15 less the 1" seam allowance you will get in each row will give you a 14x14 nine patch in a perfect world! I square mine up to 13.5 and then cut in half 6.75 one way, then cut the block in half 6.75 the other, you have four wonderful blocks from each 9 patch. Do this to all and then lay them out so seams don't come together. It is the most forgiving quilt pattern I have ever used. Great for beginners and quick for those who want to whip up some quick quilts.

I saw a fish taco recipe. It had a fish stick in a taco....? Sounded easy.....wouldn't fall out like ground beef. :0)

I had my first fish taco a couple of weeks ago.I have been seeing them on the cooking shows and advertised at some of the fast food places and every time I see one I would say YUUUK,fish tacos!I love tacos but somehow fish tacos just didn't sound good.I did tell DDIL that I'd like to at least try one so a couple of weekends ago we went somewhere and passed a Taco Bueno.DDIL whipped in and ordered something for the kids and ordered 3 crispy fish tacos.She doesn't eat fish of any kind so I knew they weren't for her.LOL She said,"You have been wanting to try these so here's your chance!"LOL They were delicious! They were made out of some kind of battered fish,kind of like a fish stick,and had shredded cabbage instead of lettuce,which was something else I wasn't sure of.Some kind of sauce which I found out later is basically mayo with lime juice mixed in and Pico de Gayo.My new favorite thing is fish tacos now.I even bought the fixins(just frozen fish sticks)and made them the next day for DS and I for lunch.DS loved them too but DH won't touch them.I'm going to try making them with a different kind of fish.
