I watched it and found it pretty interesting. I thought the last couple who gave their baby up were so sweet and, even though young, seemed more mature than some of the other couples they showed. If I remember correctly, they are the only ones that put their baby up for adoption. All the other girls kept their babies. I bet they are the only two that stay together too. Some of the kids were very good with the babies but I don't think they had any idea how hard it is to take care of a baby.

Yes, I agree that they seemed more mature than the other parents. A couple of those young "dads" - I could have just THROTTLED! LOL

I agree about throttling some of those dads! I missed the last part of the adoption show but a friend told me today that she gave birth to a girl and didn't give the baby up straight away as she planned. Sounds like it was sort of sad with the hand over.

The one show that stands out in my mind was the one where the cheerleader was pregnant and didn't want the father to know. She lived with her parents and you could see that she was exhausted after the baby came home. I almost bawled when she asked her mom to help her a night or two and the mom refused, cause she helped her daughter during the day and needed her rest. The daughter clearly tried not to rely on her mom and I felt as if she genuinely needed a break at night. She was a really nice girl and mature for her age. I was happy when the grandparents bought her the car so that she could have some relief from her mother's control. I'm all for lessons learned, but I could see her side more clearly.

Didn't realize that it was the finale because I've only watched a show or two and the shows seemed to be getting more interesting.

My oldest (17) was watching the episode with Farrah..I sat down and finished watching it too.. I hope it "relayed" some information to him about how tough it was for her..and should he find himself in that situation him too...because he'd not be allowed to "disappear" from the babies life.

I hope some other 16 year olds saw the program and scared them out of having kids so young. I thought the episode with Catelynn (?) and her BF was beautiful. Her parents wanted them to keep the baby, but they knew that baby would have a better chance with someone else. I cried so hard with them when they handed over the baby to that couple. You could tell the couple was really genuinely nice, but terrified that the teenagers would back out after seeing/holding their baby. They were so mature-I was shocked compared to the other kids from the show. I was so surprised how emotional the boyfriend was. Most of the teen dads barely did anything after the babies arrived! How sad!!

Thought that was actually a good show. And that they had the girls add at the end how difficult having/raising a baby can be and how it isn't just happily ever after!!

I thought this would be another dumb MTV show, but I really have enjoyed it. I hope it sends a message to those who at that age are thinking of having children.
To watch these kids honestly struggle and being very realistic, I felt very emotional for all of them. The girls more so than the fathers.
The guys just seem to think it is just getting in the way of their friends and party's.
Girls really do grow up faster than boys, and this show really highlights that.

Yep, I agree. The girls just seemed to "get it" much more than a lot of the boys did.

I knew the adoptive parents were scared to death that the biological parents were going to change their minds. Bless their hearts, they seemed so supportive of the younger couple, though.
