I donated on a regular basis for many years. I have B- and there's really a need for that type. I can't donate any more (for about 5 years now) because it makes me physically ill...I feel faint and queasy. I started feeling poorly after donating when I was around 52. At first I thought it was an isolated incident, but it happened every time I donated.

Ditto...and bicyclists on the roads....and I quote: "Bicyclists, in-line skaters, and motor vehicle drivers must all use and obey the same traffic laws. A motorist must recognize that a bicyclist or in-line skater has the same rights as any another motor vehicle driver." I find that folks on bicycles or in-line skates do not have the "protection" of a car. They are basically a moving target, and if we allow them the same "rights" as motor vehicles, somewhere, somehow, someone is going to get hurt, or worse, end up dead. I've seen too many accidents involving bicyclists who were negligent and took chances and ended up in an accident with a car. And it's the person in the car who is subject to scrutiny, and perhaps a lawsuit. Discliamer: I ride my bike to our local farm market, but the road I travel is a local road with minimal traffic. What I'm referring to are those bicyclists who use our main thoroughfares. That's what bike paths are for. I'll get off my soapbox now ;o)

Many times. Live just a stone's throw away from N.O. The way to go so that you are not right in the crowd is to book a room way ahead of time at The Bourbon Orleans. That way, you don't have to fight the traffic, crowds, or be mixed with the crazy drunks. You watch it all from a balcony, and talk about a show! New Orleans is an awesome place to visit, but just as any big city, you have to be careful where you go. Lu

Eating lunch with my special needs sister at the Home. And listening to her tell everyone at the table what all was in her Easter 'bag'......(this bunny has learned it's easier than a basket). When we buy her clothes for her birthday and Christmas, we prewash so she can wear right away. The Easter Bunny and Santa doesn't do that, so her clothes were in their Blair pkgs. She was so excited to tell me that the Easter Bunny brought her BRAND NEW clothes. Hmmm, wonder if she thinks the others are hand me downs! lol Shirley

Geez--I have to pick one? Peppermint stick--the kind with candy candy pieces in it--but you can only find it during the Christmas season. The rest of the year it's rum raisin for me, too.

I maybe the 'old man out', but I will pick a McDonalds vanilla (lowfat) cone over anything else!! I am not a big one for ice cream...would rather have sherbet.

I can't think of the name, but it's vanilla with swirls of caramel and chocolate fudge . Yummy!!

Cooks Dairy 'Moose Tracks'. Cooks is a local treasure in Michigan where you can sit in the parking lot just 30 feet from the pasture full of the cows whose milk made the ice cream. It is advised that you keep your windows closed, not only because of the "aroma", but because the flies like to come cool their feet on your ice cream after wading around in the hot cow dung.

Variety is the spice of life!

In the fridge now is BB Bunny Tracks, Private Selection Moose Tracks and PS Blackraspberry Chocolate Chunk. OOps! Looks like I'm out of Butter Pecan.

Ice cream is my evening snack.

Baskin Robbins Chocolate Chip. Recently I've discovered I really like coffee flavored ones too. Edy's has one called Expresso Chip or something like that! Funny, since I don't even like drinking coffee!

My fav used to be Breyer's Cookie's and Cream, but they changed the recipe. The cookies used to be VERY hard and crunchy, more like a candy texture. Now they are really soft and smooshie!! WAH!

Funny you should ask. I just got back home, from dropping off a check. On the way there I located another Braums Ice Cream place (remember, I am new to this town) and had a Cappuccino Chunky Chocolate Frozen Yogurt on a waffle cone. :)

Chocolate and strawberry are running neck and neck. We just got a Brewsters here in York a few months ago and thought I would like to sample some of their wares until I saw a commercial of their's on tv. I will not pay $3.00 a scoop for ice cream. Vique.

I used to like cookie dough or chocolate chocolate chip. Since the diabetes, I settle for the sugar free rocky road, but it's not the same. :-(

Gandy's use to make rocky Road that was my favorite.Don't think Gandy's is even in business anymore and have never found another Rocky road that I like.The almonds were chocolate covered and all that I have eaten other than that are not.I guess Butter pecan would be my favorite store bought but you can't beat homemade vanilla.

I don't eat much ice cream but years ago I liked Butter-Brickle and it just occured to me that maybe it is not a available flavor anymore.

Teaberry, but it is so darned hard to find outside of Pennsylvania, and pretty hard to find inside Pennsylvania...
