Congrats to your niece! I read a bit from her stitchtunes blog. She's a good writer. I wish her good luck with future endeavors. Also, my best to her DH. My DH has also always wanted to write & now that he's retired has taken several fiction writing classes over the past 18 months, or so. DH just recently completed his third short story but hasn't yet considered trying to get published. I've marked this thread for him to take a look at since your neice also writes short stories. And as far as you feel it appropriate/would be appreciated, tell her that a number of people across a couple of countries at least are pulling for her and sending their good wishes. The funeral went well, today. They had made a vidoe of her as a mom, wife and herself. It was so wonderful. It sure was her. When they played the part about her being herself everyone in the church stood and they played the song Save a Place For Me. It was just so peaceful. When you saw Laura she always had a smile on her face. I sure will miss her...

I would really like to find out how she progresses and handles it. Was her appointment at Johns Hopkins?
