Anna Nicole had undiagnosed hypothyroidism and having Hypothyroidism myself I see why she was taking anti-depressants, sleeping pills, pain and anti-anxiety meds. I was undiagnosed for over 10 years and had I filled all the prescriptions that doctors were writing me I'd have been on all of those. Thyroid meds cured all of that. IF she had been diagnosed correctly she may have still been alive today.

Michael kept his kids pretty much hidden from the paparazzi. I think they wil be fine. They may not get much of the MJ estate once it is all said and done though.

No doubt in my mind there will be a battle for at least the Rowe kids especially since the estate is better off financially since he's dead, there's a lot of child support money to be claimed. And considering the likely litigants, I don't think they have the children's best interests at heart. Money motivates so many, and too often motivates wrong actions. The question now is whether the other mother will now come forward to try to cash in or possibly look to do what's best for the kid.

I always felt sorry for Daniel Smith. He too was so sheltered from the media and from the public that he had no social life. All he had was his mother and Howard K. who weren't much for companions and friends to him although he meant the world to Anna. It took its toll on Daniel and look where it got him.

Kids growing up with masks on their faces in public cause me concerned for their well-being. I still am apprehensive about what was done to them behind the closed doors. Only time will be able to tell.

I can't stand how much is on every single d@mn tv station about him. He started out o.k., poor kids with a wonderful talent making it big, then it all went to h$ll in a hand basket. He turned into a freak show, and everyone is making a big deal about him now. It's sad when any human life is lost, and I truly do hope the man is at peace now, but this 24 hour coverage is making me sick. Barely a word was spoken about Farah Fawcett's passing. As usual, those poor innocent children will be the ones to suffer for the adults actions.

I don't think he started out ok. His lower economic status when he was young didn't ever seem to be the issue with him, it was that he suffered the combination of being abused by his father and having his childhood completely taken away from him. He always felt a sense of loss about that. There was nothing sudden about his decline. I feel for both MJ and Farrah, and their families.

I agree with everything Katlan said, would like to add that one of the most important bills was passed by the house of representatives yesterday and not one word was mentioned all day on any tv channel. I finally found results this morning on the web. Cap and trade bill passed by the house, still has to be voted on by the senate. I still can not find a roll call, page not available. Everyone needs to read about this bill and voice your opinion to your senator.

Boy, I agree with Katlan and Ronm80...MJ was a person not God, it's sad when anyone passes but enough is enough...It really bothers me to see so many young people look up to these "idols"....I felt that way about the Beatles and also Elvis...

Michael Jackson, the entertainer died for me years ago. The kid I loved watching on TV in the 70's and the young man that made you want to get up and dance. The guy that was all over my MTV channel. This person that passed away was a sad, bizarre individual with VERY questionable lifestyle choices. I worry about the future of his kids, it wont be easy for them.

Seeing people sitting on the street sobbing is ridiculous to me. this constant Media coverage is overkill. Enough already.

TV news reports he was half a billion dollars in debt. Just crazy for someone who made so much money. What a sad individual. He had talent, but the rest of his life was one huge mess. Reminds me of how messed up Elvis was at the end and Howard Hughes. So much money these three made, and so many hangers-on who enabled their substance dependent and unhealthy lifestyle.

I don't believe we have heard the last of this story yet. In the years to come I wonder what the singers children will say about their father. (MJ) What secrets in that household will come out, if any? Time will tell and his children will have the final say on the truth of whether he was a pervert or not. What is ironic to me is how Americans will want to run a governor out of town on a limb, because he was with a woman other than his wife. But today we are holding a man who by his own admission like to sleep with little boys. All the news channels and some strange people hold this man in reverence like he was a god. Are these the strangest of times or what???? He was nothing more to me than a man that had a talent and let his demons get the best of him. He had it all and I believe he thought he was above it all. If a clergyman, camp counselor, teacher or such had admitted to liking to sleep with little boys they would have been sent to prison or at least a mental hospital. That would have been called a pedofile. Call it what you want, but the meaning is the same. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their mother is saying that MJ is not the bio father of the children.

I'm afraid the Jackson family will use those children as meal tickets, like they used MJ.

I heard on the radio, I think NPR, that in recent times, at their own mother's request, the children have been living with Michael's mother.

Also that people who know them say that all three are polite, bright and very sweet children. I wish the best for them.

I must be the only person in the world that never liked MJ. My new favorite TV channel is HGTV because I'm so tired of the constant barrage. He should have been giving more thought to those sweet children than to his drug pusher doctors. That's all I'm sayin'.

YEA, Patti43! I agree, too. Never a fan and didn't like his lifestyle. I'm sorry that he had a difficult childhood and suffered pain. That being said, grow up and don't throw away your golden opportunities to be a good person and a good parent (no matter how he obtained children). Wasted talent, wasted life and wasted wealth. Not someone to be admired, in my humble opinion.

And why is the State of California footing the bill for the police presence at the memorial service, when they keep saying they have no money!!

AFAIC, if the family wants a shrine to their mealticket they should pay for it. Confiscate Neverland and the Wicked Witch painting if you have to in order to pay for the costs of this nonsense if they have to. To me it rates right up there with billionaire sports team owners coming with their tin cup to have taxpayers pay for stadiums for them to make even more money.

I'll be glad when the Wackomania and the groupies quiet down.
