Well, for to long promises of rain didn't deliver, and thus, I was out on a bike ride. I wrote this about it: What are the best biking friends? The kind, you can call up and they are ready in next to no time to go for a ride with you. The kind that once it starts raining, ride with you in the rain, and "yoo hoo" when the thunder claps. The kind that say: lay the bike down... when you are stopped at a red light, during a down pour, and make swimming motions... and say: Lets go for a swim. Thanks Esther! She is that kind of riding friend. She rode to the Paseo Arts Festival with me, even made me a peanut butter sandwich... and wasn't perturbed at all, when it started raining. We were the only gals leaving at the festival (on a bike) during a nice heavy downpour. What a hoot! Of course, I had started riding from home to the Memorial Day Lakes to Lakes ride. Stopped to help Sherry with a flat, and then called Esther once we got to the second lake. I had a FABULOUS ride. Thanks to both Sherry and Esther!

I just noticed it last night for the first time. I am usually doing something with my hands while watching TV, currently I'm crocheting. So I have always 'listened' to TV more than actually 'watching' it. But since my hearing has gotten so bad, and my hearing aides give me a headache, I've been using the 'closed captions' option. So I crochet like mad during the commercials, but have to pretty much keep watch during the program. Anyhow, all this just to say that I have been hearing a commercial that I enjoyed the sound of, it's an upbeat kind of thing. Last night I glanced up while it was on, and lo and behold, it was a Houzz commercial! I'll have to pay closer attention next time to see who is in it. Probably not anyone I recognize. For some reason, the Hallmark channel is extremely difficult for me to distinguish some voices on, especially the female voices. And so often the supposedly 'background' music almost drowns them out to my ears. Rusty

dig them up.. throw them on the driveway ... for a day .... and replant them.. and watch them come back..... correct ... one way or another.. its all happened to us.. frost.. freeze.. hail.. neighbors.. utility co.... etc.. etc.. etc ... is the spot that swampy... or is that the watering you did .. if it were me ... i would dig them up ... bare root them.. get rid of that potting media ... and replant in native soil ... unless it is naturally non draining ... then i would pound in some 6 foot Tbar stakes.. and put up some razor wire.. and suggest to he/she who should not be named... that you will use the extra wire on him/her ... if it happens again ... perhaps suggest that use of power tools while lacking sobriety is not approved ... lol ... ken
