Saw Something Strange Today

While driving back home through Anderson, we saw something rather strange, twice! While driving through a parking lot my daughter and I saw riding a bicycle a man dressed entirely in black, long sleeves and a ski mask over his face. Now the temperature is in the 80's. Some streets away we saw a fellow standing on the sidewalk facing us, drinking from a big plastic cup, holding lots of money and a sack! Sure seemed strange to both of us! Have you seen anything strange lately?

Not really and don't want to either.Was the guy on the sidewalk dressed in black as well?? If so maybe it's the same person and they robbed someone.News time!!!!

No, he was not dressed in black. They were some distance away from each other and not on the same street. The fellow on the bike was pretty slim and the guy on the sidewalk with all the money was a bit chubby.

Sounds like springtails? heres a link, http://www.uky.edu/Ag/Entomology/entfacts/trees/ef420.htm ,they live in the soil and do no harm, theyre cool little critters to have in a terrarium as they do a good job "cleaning house" =) the webing sounds like fungus to me, does it look like something out of a sci fi movie? not quite a spiders web but vainy looking? if so its fungus, wont harm your plants but does sometimes get out of control, get some air circulating in there, maybe run a very small fan, like a computer fan across the top if the terrarium, that should do the trick, make sure you keep an eye on the humidity, dont want to dry out the plants, and if that doesnt work, but it should, and if you dont mind doing it, just take it apart and clean every thing with cool water, then use new sterile potting soil, and redo it =) let us know how it goes =)

I made a vow when I was nine and had an unsuccessful lemonade stand that, when I grew up, I would stop at every lemonade stand and buy some which I do to this day. Just to see the kids faces is so worth it although I had one little guy who asked for a dollar and I told him I only drink lemonade that costs 50 cents so he said "okay" and I gave it to him. Often I empty it out the window but they never know lol. I think there are lots of people who do these things.

Wow, that is really odd. A ski mask really bothers me.
But to be riding a bike in public with it on? That is really weird.
Kinda makes you want to stay home. ick.

We live in Texas, and you ask if we saw anything strange today? Honey, if we don't see anything strange, we figure we aren't paying attention or have missed the passing parade.

Did you call the police? I would have. A lot of crooks in the cities use bikes because they can cut down alleys and other tight areas that police cars cannot go, so it's almost a guarantee of a safe get-away. You almost surely did see someone who had either committed a crime or was considering one.

Don't think I've seen anything too strange lately--DD did, on one recent visit to her aunt in the nursing home. DD was on the elevator, the doors opened, and she saw...

One old man in a wheel chair yelling, threatening, shaking his fist at another resident. Old guy in the wheel chair stands up. He's going to beat up the other guy (we really don't know why) His attendant says, "Mr. Smith, sit down, you're on oxygen!" The old dudes were just about ready to go to fists. DD was in hysterics when she was telling me the story.

The masked fellow would have scared me. I might have watched to see where he went and then called police if I thought there was trouble. A ski mask is just not normal in hot weather. Scary anytime if you ask me!!

Sounds like a purse snatcher. Thieves riding a bike is a common MO around my town. Just like Azzalea said. I would have reported it.
