Apparently they started chemo tonight. I hope everything goes better than expected. I keep thinking St. Jude but it isn't time yet. He doesn't meet the criteri yet.

From Bradley's Carepage: From dad: I was praying with Angie's favorite Priest up here and in the middle of praying Bradley said "mom"! He actually opened his mouth and said mom. I said, "did you hear that" and as I was asking, "did you hear that" he said it again, "mom". I grabbed my phone and started to call Angie and he said it again.The nurse, the Priest, and myself all heard him say it so I'm not crazy, well......not about this anyways.Angie and I shared some tears before I let her go. He has showed some miracles improvements over the last couple of days, he truly is a miracle! Other news doesn't seem as important, but it is.His cat scan looked great, so they will be installing his shunt sometime on Wednesday.I will be here for that.No way am I going to be gone for any more surgery's!He also got to ride in a stroller(hospital type stroller) and the physical therapy people made him make some decisions on where to go and what to do while they were pushing him along.Today has been AMAZING! I would be....inconsiderate to say the least if I were not say thank you to all of you wonderful people out there praying for him.YOU and GOD are truly making a miracle, so....KEEP IT UP! Please and thank you. Sincerely, Dad P.S. I love all of you! They do have bracelets and T-shirts for fund raisers...besides the big chili supper and silent auction/raffle on March 5. Patti...I understand your feeling, and agree. But, they do have 3 other young children. They have vehicle and mortgage payments plus normal bills that still have to be made also. Angie has been off since this all started over 3 weeks ago. She is only putting in the minimum hours so they can keep the medical insurance. I got this update just a while ago: he is in pain Posted 1 hour ago imagine that if you will...he's back to grinding his teeth. He barely opened his eyes a little. Chris noticed when he was crying he isn't using the left side of his face...we haven't really seen him move the left side of his body. Obviously it's early on to tell but they did notify the docs. Praying that this is not the case. hoping it's just the swelling and nothing more to it. He's too cute and innocent to be affected by this...please don't let there be deficits that can't be resolved in time!!! He doesn't need that! Kids can be mean when he is older and it brings tears to my eyes now to even think that they could be mean to him. He's been through hell. Chris is trying to make light of it and say he'll talk like Sylvestor Stallone. Anyways, the fam just got here. I'll talk to you soon.

Just got this email: the doctor got the bulk of the tumor and there were some crevices that it started to grow in that he scraped so there are some remaining cancer cells. he said he didn't cut thru anything major so he's hoping that if he has any peralysis that it will be temporary. they are stitching him up right now and they are hoping that he doesn't have to go to icu but that has yet to be determined. so the goal right now is to get him better asap and get the radiation started to kill off the cancer cells that remained. the doctor noted that it did not grow back in the brain. he said it was kind of funny that right where the proton therapy ended the tumor began. he said the proton must have worked! so amazing.
