Send a Prayer/Good thoughts for Little Bradley!!

He has just gone into surgery to hopefully remove the entire tumor on his spine.

I will try to let you know what I know during the day, but I will be away from the puter this afternoon....so, others that are on his CarePage, if you would add to this post for others to keep up, I would appreciate it!

Enjoy your day.....and please say a Prayer or send special thoughts for a sweet little 4 year old going through all these cancer treatments AGAIN!

I will continue with the positive thoughts and prayers for Bradley. He has been so often in my thoughts.

Poor babies, that is an adorable face. Hope she's continuing to fight. More prayers coming their way. Can't we consider that animal cruelty ? to keep on having puppies knowing that Parvo is in the soil ? Doesn't it stay viable for years ? I have little patience or respect for folks like them. Used to you could buy the puppy shots at places like Gebos for about $3. a vial, don't know what the price is now but it's something everyone thinking about having puppies should look into & learn how to give. GRRRR I'm like Sally, somebody slap some sense into them. Barb, you're a hoot but I can understand how you feel. Missy our Lab had an appt for Spaying but jumped the fence went to the neighbor's jumped his fence to play with his Great Dane. Later with 9 puppies we were both a wreck. I cried when each one got a new home & then cried when they were all gone cause it was so nice & quiet without them. Missy never liked small dogs after that, thought they might want to nurse I guess. Update added: We went down and saw my new nephew Aiden. What a little cutie. He is in the nursery full time and has an IV in his poor little head running all the time. This evening though they finally got to put him into his mama's room so that is good news. They left the port in his head just in case they need to use it again. The funny thing is that he looks just like Hayden, the two can be twins. I feel for my sil, her mom is totally mean and driving her nuts and is no help at all. She was going to stay for a month to help out, and with the babies problems she will need the extra help but out of the blue said good bye last night and no one has seen her since. My sil overcompensates by saying that she will just figure it out on her own. She hasn't been around babies and only has 2 weeks maternity leave, 2 days gone already. I hope to go down on Sunday when they get home and snuggle that baby. I will post a pic in a new post when DH gets the pics downloaded. Stacie

Doctors nurse just called & doctor needs to talk to us...let's just pray its good news & bradley is fine...

I will keep you updated when I know anything.

Just got this email:

the doctor got the bulk of the tumor and there were some crevices that it started to grow in that he scraped so there are some remaining cancer cells. he said he didn't cut thru anything major so he's hoping that if he has any peralysis that it will be temporary. they are stitching him up right now and they are hoping that he doesn't have to go to icu but that has yet to be determined. so the goal right now is to get him better asap and get the radiation started to kill off the cancer cells that remained. the doctor noted that it did not grow back in the brain. he said it was kind of funny that right where the proton therapy ended the tumor began. he said the proton must have worked! so amazing.
