Cooking or baking...where do you need more prep space?

I've noticed that most people tend to do more of one than the other. If you cook a lot, with chopping veggies, stir fry, sauces, frying meats, pasta, etc. I'm assuming you need a lot more prep space between sink and range...or an island.

If you tend to do some cooking, but a lot more baking...then you would need more room for staples, rolling out dough, easy access to sink and fridge, maybe double ovens, spices, etc.

How has this influenced your kitchen layout? Is there anything you wish you had included or find you don't use as much as you thought, regarding cooking and baking? Do you wish you had more prep or storage space, in either area? Is there something that works really well...and you would recommend to others?
