"shortest projection wall lavatory faucet" Kohler has a K-2443 (discontinued, but available) which you install wherever you wish, inside a shelf that you build to suit your space. In a tiny space, a shelf is your friend. The k-2443 has a single-handle temperature mixer; this is good for mixing cold cold Lake Ontario water with hot water from your tank. The k-2443 is SO short it's invisible. Your shelf projects the distance you want it to. (Another product the k-2440 is a ready made shelf. Another product is a ready made medicine cabinet, into which you may put this invisible faucet.) Web search "K-2440" "K-2443" outside Kohler's web site. When you open the PDF documents you can see how simple the faucet is, and therefore how easy it is to install in any shelf / tablet / support / that you design to fit your space. It's modular. Aquabrass has a Blok faucet. It is also a shelf with a faucet integrated into it. The shelf is made of Corian, which cuts like wood, so you can reduce the dimensions of the shelf if you want it to be smaller. Several versions. Dornbracht has a Corian shelf with a faucet integrated into it. Elemental Spa. Two versions. I know many companies that would have no problem cutting any spout down to a smaller size and rechroming it for you. Hth

Oooh! I have a good amount of experience with wall mounted faucets. In our last remodel we had 3. Four this remodel. I always get Kingston Brass. Great styling, terrific prices online and excellent quality. Chicago faucets are very popular on here amongst the wall mounted crowd. Re: Reach. There are different spout lengths available on the wall mounts. I think Chicago might offer the greatest length size. I believe my reach is somewhere around 12" from the wall. You have to take into account the tile, escutcheon and spout. Look at the spec sheet for whatever faucet you are interested in. Our sinks have been apron sinks. One fireclay and one custom big soapstone. I find the set-up comfortable. On our last remodel, I was a newbie at this and did not realize that the spouts came in different lengths. We had the farm sink on a short wall and actually cut the cab down in the back to make the water hit dead center because I was nervous about reach. To be honest, I don't think it was necessary. I have always mounted the faucets 8" above the countertop, which seems crazy high before everything is in and finished but is the perfect height (imho) if you are handling large buckets, pots, coolers, etc. I love the wall mounted faucets! I have a 13" spout with my farm sink. 9 wouldn't be enough for me. But it depends where the faucet will be in relation to the sink. I have a wall mount faucet, so I needed to span the space behind the sink. A deck mount will be different. The sink is about 18" wide (with 1.5" for the back rim), so depending on how close to the sink you mount the faucet, a 9.25 spout will reach less than halfway, right? It also depneds whether you will have some kind of hose or sprayer. If you do, then spout reach is less important. Francy
