Thank you everyone!! I loved the photos and I'll take the suggetion to google cherry bed & see what colors I find. We have put a darker oak flooring throughout the house and it will eventually find its way onto our MB floor. Unfortunately right now, we have worn blue/grey carpet out of the 80s in the MB. I have an old green patchwork quilt on the bed currently which won't stay. I like the green paint color suggestions & will definitely look at the neutral/tan families too. I appreciate the suggestion of going w/ yellowish greens rather than blue greens. I'm new to decorating & for a long time I just thought 'green'. I've learned that one green is beautiful in a room but another will totally detract. I always appreciate spending time in this forum & have noticed that a lot of very helpful people contribute! I have BM Linen White Walls in a Pearl finish and bright white trim in my office with my Cherry Wood Furniture. I prefer to work in offices that have peaceful colors that do not distract me from my work but that is just me.

I'm in California where I use Dunn Edwards paints, so the names won't be of much help, but I have a soft blue throughout most of my house that's about halfway between a baby blue and a "spa" or robins-egg blue, and pretty close to the color of really, really faded jeans. It's called Sidewalk Chalk, if that helps. It's a little lighter than the Yarmouth Blue shown in that beautiful bathroom pic. My LR has lots of morning sunshine and the color looks great all day. Your color combination sounds very pretty! The spa blue + chocolate color combination might look dated very quickly, so I think your instincts are right to go for something neither spa blue nor baby blue, but more sophisticated. Ok Guys, I went back to the design center today and here are some new choices: Tumbled Marble Subway Tile Emperador Brown: The tumbled marble also comes in 4"X4". OR Tumbled travertine 4"X4" Chocolate color: I emailed the designer to ask of the trvertine came in subway tiles, too. Hopefully, she will get back to me soon. My pics of the floor tile did not come out great this time, but here is is with two different carpet choices (in the design center it was almost identical to the carpet on the right, but in the pic it looks identical to the carpet on the left!): Also, I came across this REALLY pretty mosiac tile (I have NO idea how much any of this costs, I've put in an email to the designer to see!). I was thinking of getting one of the 4"X4" tiles (either the marble or the travertine) as the backsplash and then having them put one of these mosaic tiles centered over the stove cooktop. What do you guys think? Here's a pic of the mosaic tile: If the mosaic is too expensive, then I think I may go with subway tiles for the backsplash. I think the subway tiles would look wierd with the mosaic. Let me know what you guys think! You have been really helpful so far! Thanks so much!
