Paint help please-need SW or Behr color match to BM Olive Branch
Comments (1)SW has all the Ben Moore color formulas in their computer. If you want a match, just go to their store and ask them for it. It's easy. :)...See MorePirula, Other Color Gurus, need warm off-white help, please!
Comments (3)RL Deep Cream is very pretty, although very changeable, so you'd need to sample it in your house and room before deciding (well, you'd do that anyway!). Other posters here have called it "grey" or "lemon" -- in my somewhat dim MBR, it's a very warm off-white, right on the cusp of light beige and ivory. I don't see either grey or lemon in it at all. Too light for my purposes, but lovely. Maybe right for yours? There's another thread going about neutral paint colors -- perhaps there'd be some good suggestions there? Many people seem to like BM Ivory Tusk. Good luck!...See MoreNeed help with BM paint colors for cabinets
Comments (14)Kateskouros- your absolutely right about painting bigger samples. I'm off to the paint store today to get lots of samples. BM has those bigger squares of paper that show the color. Think that would work or should I still paint the samples myself. I may chicken out with the darker color and stick to cream. The cream the cabinets maker had is way to yellow for me, so If I could get something a little more neutral that would work too. Who knows maybe I'll see a sample I love in the grey/greenish color. All I know is that I am driving Dh crazy with all of this. He just wants me to pick a color!!! Remodel1958- can't wait to see your cabs. When do they come in? What else are doing with them? countertop? floor etc? sw in austin- I really like edgecomb grey, definitely a good neutral. Thanks everyone. If you think of anything else let me know!...See MoreBM or SW Paint gurus: Need rec's for small half master bath
Comments (16)Thanks, rorah, and others. I tend to gravitate towards cool vs. warm colors here. Can you try a mock-up of the Stonington Gray since I have two gallons of it? Also, maybe the Powell Buff. Not sure about Kangaroo. ?? I would likely need to stop at BM and see what kind of samples they have of these colors. DH does like the Nantucket Fog, and he said he was skeptical about the gray for a BR. So, in all likelihood, we are going to end up keeping it, so, yes, that means painting the bathroom. At least I don't have to hire painters to do it. I have had some issues with balance and vertigo over the past couple years, so I did not feel comfortable taking on a job where I'd need extended time on a ladder or step stool, but I'd be able to do that small space. I could send DH up on the ladder, but I'm the painter. He is a wonderful man, but he is not handy at all. I've done this entire interior on our house except for this BR. If I did it while he was home on a weekend, that would be OK for safety. I'll probably need to sell the leftover Stonington Gray on Nextdoor. I also have 3 gallons of primer. They are about 2 years old but have never been opened, so I'm sure I can't return them. What do you think of the suggestions in this article on coordinating with terracotta? http://homeguides.sfgate.com/colors-coordinate-terracotta-tile-100127.html...See Moreredbazel
