I'm going to give you a link to my old neighborhood. There are a couple Tudor-style homes. Mine was "The Ryan House" which was Tudor, but without the half-timbering. The trim was a nice gray. I was surprised how well it worked out. There is another with a rusty red trim that does have the half-timbering.

Tudor is not really a style that is common in this area, and most of the ones I've seen are the standard white and brown.

Hmm - Reverse Tudor? I think lighter coloured trim with a darker wall looks a little more Arts and Crafts than Tudor, but is still nice:

Thanks, Carrie, for the pics. All the pictures you've found show the traditional colors I've grown so bored with. I'm wondering how it would look to paint the body of the house a medium green with cream trim? Not traditional, but not as shocking as my favorite Giverney color scheme.

BM Louisburg Green is a nice color that looks great on the exterior. It is soft, but still has color and is a departure from the white. A cream color trim would look good with it.

An inspiration pic I saved from awhile ago. I can't remember where it is from sadly....
