Painting Exterior Tudor-style house

I have a tudor-style house, currently painted tan with medium brown wood trim. I'm bored with tan/brown, and I think it looks dreary, but when I did a search on Google images of tudor houses, almost all are tan and brown (or cream and charcoal). I did see one that was painted creamy white with light blue wooden accents, but that was from sunny California and I live in Washington state. I'm actually very attracted to the color scheme of Giverney (Monet's house in France) which is pale pink with rose accents and verdigris trim, but I have a sneaking feeling it would stand out like a sore thumb in my neighborhood.

Does anyone have any color advice to give?
