Help me find this container to use on dining room table!

I am not even really sure how to accurately describe what I am looking for so it's made google searches hard. I want a long, wooden, oblong shaped container to use as the centerpiece container for my dining room table. not really a trough because that would be too rustic but that idea. My table is highly polished cherry queen anne style with lots of other antiques in the room. i want to have this be the consistent item on the table and then change out the contents based on the seasons. i hope this makes sense.

Help finding a square dining room table NOT counter height, 30'

Probably have to get it built for you. Not much demand for 54" square tables as the project far into the room on the corners and folks can't pass food across the table without coming out of their chair. A seating position is typically 24" minimum, so that means legs far outboard or a center pedestal to seat 8.

there's a couple nice things here......I might center the head chair on wall opposite powder room entry....and even move table back toward that wall when you don't need seating for 8. that clears a nicer wider area around your windows and possibility of small plant stands/etc with the light flowing in from windows[I assume] So this means moving table closer to couch and up closer to top non-window wall as well......you are off-setting it somewhat....I would probably pick a "close to ceiling fixture" so you don't have that longer drop and conspicuousness of a chandy..but that's just me...over time....I prefer to have more flexibility...some people leave the same postion of everything for the long haul. Enjoy your new space.......

And dough bowl. I have that exact bowl as on ebay. Really, it looks just like that. A friend gave it to me and it was her mothers.
We have always called it a dough bowl.

thanks. i am looking for something at least 24", would prefer even 30". it's more in my mind's eye i think, but i will search trencher and dough bowl. thanks again.

I have one almost exactly like this one, even down to the crack! Mine is about 22"x13.25" which is not quite as big as you want, but maybe the one in the link is larger.

You guys are killing me here.....
So many times beautiful items are brought to my attention .
I say to myself "I want one of those.
Yes~ a dough bowl~ that's what I need"
It's quit primitive for texanniew but does any one else like it ? 30x14..
Please help me with my shopping addiction !
If it's still there on Tuesday I don't know if I will be able to control myself....

I've never heard of a trencher or dough bowl before, beautiful stuff! Good luck with the search!
