How do I duplicate this antiqued wood finish?

I posted before about painting a hutch for my foyer and still haven't made a final decision as to what color to use. Bellaflora suggested I use a colorwash, but I wasn't sure what that would look like in person.

Then I saw this dresser today at Restoration Hardware and really liked the antiqued finish. It looked like different colors of stain, paint and/or dark glaze were used for the entire piece and an antique off-white glaze in the crevices. Is this a colorwash finish? Can anyone help me with a step by step process to try and get the same effect?

My hutch is orangish pine and doesn't appear to have any sealant, so I'm sure I'll have to either bleach it or use a darker stain under the paint/glaze.
