So I wrote to Kathy (of maryland mosaics)and thanked her for the freebies. Told her that I talked her up here at GW and this is what she sent back...

"I will create a coupon code called "gardenweb" and you will receive a 10% discount. Just type gardenweb in the coupon code section during checkout and you will automatically receive 10% off your order. No minimum amounts and no expiration date. It would be great if you could announce the coupon code for me on the forum since I do not belong to that."

Thank you for posting the back of the sweater. The back of the hooded sweater is very cute and has a nice line. .I agree it can be worn out. I wear the one button sweater out as I mentioned. I wore it when we went out to dinner the other night. Yes, I am also thinking about Christmas shopping. I think I will be getting the EB flannel pants for my daughters and young teen granddaughters. My grandsons too who also like comfy loungy. I am going to check the EB outlet for the sleep sweater and flannels. i saw them there in past years prior to Christmas.

Gifts should never be mentioned period. Etiquette hasn't disappeared. People chose to ignore it. People should give gifts because they want to. Never because it is expected or not expected. People who get gifts should accept them with grace. If they don't want them they are free to pass them on to others or charity. Once given a gift it become their property to with what they wish. Both my kids quietly got married without fanfare. On their first anniversary DD and her DH hosted a costumed anniversary party for close family and friends at a restaurant. They ever intended it to be "a wedding" but it sure turned into one. It is still talked about. Everyone came in costume and everyone one brought gifts. No gift registry no mention of gifts but every gift was unique and appreciated. Why? Because they invited real friends and close family. Whenever friends get together that wedding party is still talked to this day when the subject of marriage or related subjects comes up. DS's friends were probably aware of his marriage before we were. I am pretty sure many wished to celebrate by gifting them. But again they would be true friends, not distant people or acquaintances you only exchange a Xmas card with if that. Family was told at Xmas dinner and he said he they would like to have a small BBQ for family when the weather got warm. Immediate family only and a few best friends.

one of our local news stations Wed had a story about one of those guys buying up needed things - and reselling them at a very high price. He called the guy (who had placed an ad online) and scheduled a buy of 2 bottles of sanitizer at 40.00 $ each. they sell at about 7$ at walgreens. He didn't know his 'buyer' was a news reporter (on scams and ripoff businesses). from what he said there are no laws against price gouging or taking advantage (financially) in a crisis. I hope leaders in this state take swift action to fix that. All of those people (at least here in AZ) aren't buying up those huge quantities for their own personal use. they've also been reporting on the huge increase in purchases of bidets. I went to my local W earlier and its canned good aisle, paper, detergent, cleaners, meat, cheese/butter /egg, and baking supply aisles were all totally wiped out. as were most of the frozen food cases and pet food aisles. I didn't get any paper items I need or dog food. my sister emailed me that her dh was going to Costco and asked what I needed. I sent her my list and I hope he can get at least a few things - especially the dog food. if anyone has a reddish color mutt appear at their door with a note on its collar asking to be fed, it might be my girl!

Wow is Cantaloupe Capers a show stopper! Glad you got approval on that. The other one is nice too. I read the article on hybridizing with Fulva on Bob's blog. Most interesting. I am unable to log in with google to comment there for whatever reason [maybe my high security on my computer] but I can at least comment here. I found it most interesting to see the various varieties you were able to get from first or second generation crosses, and that you can cross it with both diploids and tets. One thing the article didn't mention was the bud count. Is it high using fulva? While the ditch lilies are average in bud counts, I know some of the species daylilies have an amazing bud count. Well dang it! There goes another broken promise to myself not to order anymore tiles for a loooooooooong time. Going to check it out now. I DID look at M by Maria's sale, and was tempted but resisted. Thanks, NT. This is too good to pass up.

Thanks a LOT, NT, for spending my money. I just made an order for $117.75, and can hardly wait to get it. The coupon code has not been activated yet, but I mentioned it in comments, so hopefully w/receive the discount. She has a wonderful array of things not seen on other websites.

CRAP! You know I've been checking that site out since someone originally posted it on here a few weeks ago I guess. I too promised myself not to buy anything else for awhile. I think Maria and Maryland will be getting orders from me in the next few days! Oh well, DH can check me off his list!

Hey y'all. Just got an email from her. She's just finishing up the particulars on a Christmas sale of 20% off of everything. Instead of correcting my order on the 10 percent, she's giving me the 20. How's THAT for a wonderful seller?!!!! BTW the correct way to enter into the coupon code is "gardenweb" - one word. I had written two words. Has to be exact.

Oh my gosh, can I hold myself back??? I've been spending too much money on myself lately. I'm terrible at Christmas shopping, I find more stuff for myself than anyone else. Oh well, I just might have to go shopping at Maryland's too. I'm sure Santa wants me to have more glass.

Great site and great deal! I just "made out" an order, but DH would be verrrrrry unhaaaaaappy right now if I placed it, so I just saved it, maybe til my next paycheck??? I've never ordered glass before, if you can believe that!!! I get lots of scrap from two local SG stores, and pick up dishes for cheap, but have never ordered anything. I would SO love to click that Confirm button! Soon....soon....
