I almost hate to post this
Comments (7)Omg, Puffy, I couldn't stop looking. The lady shaving her feet.. lol. And, seriously, those of you who have met me in person know I'm not above wearing night shirts as real shirts, but, come on. How do people really go in public with most of their bodies hanging out. I keep seeing these women with jeans that don't even come up to their hips. Really can't help but lol at many of them. Laughter is good for you so thanks Puffy. Smiles....See MoreHave you ever said: 'I hate this' and leveled it to start over?
Comments (12)I've never completely leveled a garden but I've gone nuts before. This is my usual MO: I photograph my beds throughout the season & study them in winter to see what should be changed. I research the plants I'm interested in & make mental lists. Fortunuately, I tend to get a few garden center gift certificates at Christmas, so I plan. Then as soon as spring is in the air, I go shopping. I end up with some things from my list & some impulse buys. Then I store everything on the back deck during the spring rains & replan. I wait until a day with light rain & go nuts. I start digging things up, moving things around, tossing stuff I never realized I hated, planting the new plants in areas I never planned to plant them, get myself all muddy, take days to get all the dirt out of my fingernails, take aleve for back pain (lol) and sit back & wait to see what it does. I've found those beds turn out much better than the ones I planned. I tweak a bit until the 3rd year & then consider another overhaul though not as major. Anything that underperforms gets replanted out back or tossed in the woods. Eventually I'll just buy a new house/yard & start the whole process all over again. =P...See MoreI hate Comcast , I hate Comcast, I hate Comcast.
Comments (16)I am canceling my service with Comcast. I have the $4.99 charge to cover me in case I need to have a service call. Well in April I did have a service call as one of my two phone lines was not working. The technician who came out broke my phone and did not tell me that he broke it. I found that out much later -- it should have been a hint when he did not want me to hold the phone. Then he or Comcast put a $70.00 charge on my account. When I called Comcast, I told them about this, they admitted that it should not have been there and they told me that they would credit my account on the next bill, but that I was expected to pay it and they would issue a credit. I need to check the statutes but I don't think you can collect on disputed charges, especially when you are aware that YOU made the mistake. For the $70.00 that should not have been billed, they interrupted the service. I refuse to pay it and have notified my local jurisdiction and the FCC. If you are looking for a cable or internet or phone provider, don't walk past Comcast, run as fast and as far as you can....See MoreI think I hate this room color. Should I hate this room color?
Comments (51)Yes- unfortunately the existing piece is actually probably a vanity masquerading as a desk (also a Facebook market find). It is not very ergonomic at all- it sort of traps your thighs in that upside down U thing and thus my husband won’t use it. I thought he’d eventually cave, but 2+ months of passive aggressively moving his paperwork and iPad off of our dining room table and onto our “desk” isn’t working. I’ve got to either replace it or find a 5 foot centerpiece for our diningroom....See MoreDawnInCal
