Comments (197)Funky.....I didn't have time to do a lot of research on knives because I wanted to get the order in ASAP. We currently have a set of low end Henckels.....it was probably $100 or less with the block, 6 knives and 6 steak knives. It's got to be at least 10 years old. I use the steak knives for just about everything...I know.....so bad. As mentioned, I don't cook much and if I do it's super easy stuff. I ended up buying Victoronix....a chef's and paring knife. Figured anything would be an upgrade from what we have and they got good reviews. Didn't want to go top of the line yet with Wusthoff or better Henckels, etc. I'll see how he likes these and will maybe invest in better knives down the road a bit. Thanks again!...See MoreAttractive Cat Basket/Bed
Comments (30)Your cat model is cute!! Thanks so much for going to the trouble of photographing the basket for me, 3katz, but I think I have found something that will work. I had a gift card to At Home that I’d been carrying around forever so I stopped in there last night. This basket I found there contains kitty's little fleece bed just perfectly. I topped it off with a heater and she seems quite content. I may need to add more padding to boost the bed a bit if she needs to see over the top better, but so far so good! THANK YOU for the pics and being willing to ship the bed to me, but I don’t think I will need it after all. (It’s hard to tell in the photo, but the stripe at the bottom of the basket is an ocean blue and goes with the colors in our bedroom.)...See MoreHave you tried any new products/food/clothes that you're happy with?
Comments (137)Thanks! Oakley -yay for Aquage! That brush looks amazing. Funkyart which style do you think runs wider? My feet feel much better. My left foot doesn’t hurt at all anymore when I have them on. The right foot still does but I suspect it will take awhile for that foot to settle down. I really need a pair of comfortable (standard work with almost anything black) boots/booties but don’t really like their styles. Theres one that’s ok but I wish the toebox was shaped a little different. Going to order more sandals. Im going to look into some of the other sandals mentioned here too. Thanks Eld. Yeon -The small bottle (they have a large size too) has a dropper and I just put a drop on the applicator and run it along the top. Another drop for the bottom and drop right at the beginning of the spooly brush to use on my brows. It sounds like a lot but I have over half a bottle still. I don’t recommend brushing the oil on the lashes with the spooly brush (mascara wand) because the oil is so thick it just beads up. It’s kind of gunky feeling but doesn’t irritate the eyes at all. I do it right before bed and sleep with it on. In the morning I just rub my eyes. It seems some of its absorbed in because there’s less. ETA - Thanks for suggestions about exercises. I was thinking there was probably stretches or something I could do to help. I'll check it out. Justerrilynn -They look great! And nice ZZ plant too....See MoreGood, Bad & Ugly reviews for Online X-mas Shopping
Comments (53)My online shopping was all good: Kohl's, Best Buy, LL Bean, Land's End, Amazon and Ebay. I have my items sent to work as our neighborhood has sadly had things stolen from porches. There were some things I ordered late and they have not arrived yet - but I knew the dates were post-Christmas when I ordered. Only one is a semi-gift (a jacket for my husband who lost a lot of weight and needs one in a smaller size). The upside of those is that I'm shipping them to Son#1's place of work, as I won't be back to my own job for a couple of weeks. So we're going to meet him for dinner once he has both my orders. Katlan's rude checkout clerk reminded me of my rude clerk story from several years ago. I was buying Christmas ornaments to decorate a metal tree I'd gotten from a specialty store. The sum total was probably more than I'd spent for the tree itself. I was buying a couple of other things too. As the clerk was ringing the things up we realized that there was something wrong with one of the boxes I was buying. The clerk ended up being really rude about it. We finished the purchase with the plan that I would go way back to the seasonal section to get another box - even the cashier manager had come over to help because she heard the rude cashier. However, after starting to walk back to switch the boxes, instead I turned around and went over to customer service and told them I wanted to return everything. Everything?! Yes. I said that the clerk had been really rude and and that made me mentally step back and realize that I was overspending. Customer service wanted to know who the clerk had been, but I said that I understood that it's the stressful Christmas shopping season and I didn't want to point her out, but just wanted my money back. (I ended up getting the tree ornaments from Joanne Fabrics and used some JF Bucks I had to pay!) I guess a thank you to the rude clerk for helping me to spend less?...See Moremaire_cate
