How I decide between Marvin's...

Infinity window and their regular alum exterior/wood interior Marvin window.

Will be needing one casement and one picture window w/awning.

Here's the situation...

I'm in my late 20's and buying windows is very new to me. (who knew there was so much to learn!) I've made a few trips to the showroom and still undecided.

My house was built in 1928, very narrow city brick row house.

I'm looking to buy two windows for the back of the house for the kitchen.

Plan to live here for minimum 10yrs but I don't wan't to go overboard with my renovation.

Quote for an infinity window was $400 vx $850 for Marvin window.

The Infinity's "everwood" is ok, I figure I can spruce it up with some nice solid wood trim...and of course their Marvin line is beautiful.

....sigh

Total of an extra $1000. Is it worth it to splurge on the windows and save money elsewhere?

Thanks
