viche, The "crankcase" is the accepted term for the reservoir of the engine oil, as it is on your car, too. No need to be apologetic...most of us "engine-heads" are just on here to help when it's remotely possible that we can. As I mentioned in my prior post, your engine will not even notice the bit of slightly different oil...absolutely no need to change your fresh oil again in the Spring. I mentioned grounding the plug to the cylinder while cranking to have you avoid any possible damage to your ignition circuitry. The very high voltage generated by the solid-state ignition module wants somewhere to go to ground....like a lightning strike does. You want it to go to a common grounded piece of your mower, or it will try to find a path of least resistance....and possibly damage a component part of your Toro ignition system. By grounding your plug (hex or thread part) to a cylinder fin, that risk is eliminated (is that clear as mud? ~grin~) You "just dangled" the plug the last time, and got away with it. Next time...you may not. Now relax, throw another log on the fire, and enjoy the Holiday Season. It's a bit less than 13 weeks 'til Spring! Regards, Hal

Nice PVC cages...I understand fully what you're saying about my HD cages. You are correct in that they are only a support system, very specifically with these smaller ones I use. I don't mind helping a branch here & there by moving it above a ring or whatever. I very much doubt there will be constant upkeep with the cages. I am well aware of the size tomato plants get. One of the main reason I did 6 of them (2 each of 3 varieties) is that I know container gardening on a tiny porch means (for some plants) limited production due to space. Anyways, guess i'm trying to say I pre-planned quite well & bought items I specifically wanted. My hopes are to have plenty of matoes by football season. :) See, drtomato & macheske, it's not hard to talk like a normal adult. Start out by asking questions first though, like "Why do you use the small HD tomato cages?" instead of saying something like, "Those little HD cages are funny... My plants are over 7' now. I don't think I would be able to find them. They might be big enough for some of my peppers." Then maybe, by asking a few questions first, you'd know why I bought the materials I did, instead of just starting a bunch of crap in this forum. And I wonder why it's been so dead the past 2 weeks.

That is a very nice home!. Are those wood floors "dade county pine?" maybe not that old, look very good. I re-did a small home in Stuart, FL, we had to sell it because of 2nd child, but I really liked that old home. I hope you keep that white tub, must be really heavy, metal, nice design on it. When we did our bathrooms I did the rip out and then just hired people for the specific task, drywall, tile etc...it cut the cost from 5k to 2k. I did a lot of planning, looking at different pictures, tile stores...so take your time. We replaced out hvac too, (trane XR-13), should have replaced the ducts, but just had them cleaned out. We did put in impact windows and well worth the money. I'm not sure if you could get impact windows to match the style of your home. Such a nice place!

My contractor secured our stainless double sink under cabinet mount with the HUSH system. That was about five years ago. The sink has separated from the granite countertop and we now have a roughly 3/4 inch gap between the sink and the countertop. I am repairing it tomorrow and I will not be using a HUSH. I intend to try the Never Fall system. Yeah, I paid $30 for it but i won’t have to fix this thing again. I just realized this is a pretty old thread but I am going to post it anyway. Might keep someone from wasting his or her time and money on the HUSH.
