Ran into a problem with my patio redo

There was a paver path that ran against the back of my house. We decided to remove that to put in plantings. When they pulled the path out they found a 3x3 patch of concrete that goes at least 2 feet deep, very difficult to remove, between the two round top windows. What do we do now? We can't plant anything there so we're thinking of maybe adding another section of bluestone and putting something there. Maybe a bench, storage box, chairs, fountain, griffin statue, lol, not sure! Any ideas? If we put chairs the view from those would be of our neighbor's upstairs windows. Not a cozy feeling. I'm at a loss.
